The hosts were very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, we had some issues with the water heater and they were always available to solve it. The room is very spacious and there is a full kitchen for guests to use.

We didn't like the breakfast, it was very simple, but it seems that this is the Italian style. We missed the Italian bread and some kind of cheese. We were served 2 cornettos, one plain and the other filled with a very sweet cream. The other items (toast and cookies) were industrialized. It was the same thing every day. As in previous reviews the breakfast was very good, we think that for some reason, during our stay, it failed.

A very nice B&B in the heart of the historic town of Taranto. The tiny, small alleys are fascinating. This living gives you a nice, clean room with a very modern bathroom as an extra plus. The breakfast is in a common area with a big kitchen. The owners are very helpful and gives you all information you want and need. They also gives you the opportunity to bring the breakfast in a bag if you are leaving earlier than the breakfasttime. A perfect located living if you want to discover Taranto.

Just some notices: In the description it says yo have a breakfast with a lot of local products. That only exist in the weekends. Monday-Friday you got a more normal italian breakfast with a sweet bakery, yoghurt and coffee. The apartment is on the third level and it is steep stairs up (no elevator).

We really enjoyed our stay at U'panare in the old town Taranto. The area is quite edgy - not completely regenerated yet therefore it may not be everybody's cup of tea but there are very good (but not obvious) eateries nearby. We had a very good dinner at Locanda San Guiseppe ( recommend almond and pistachio crusted fish fillet ! ) Also recommend Caffe Letterario for a drink - very friendly staff and good beer and wine....There is free parking on the Via di Mezzo. Thanks again for the wonderful stracciatella cheese on Saturday breakfast. 🙏🏻

We loved U'Panare, from perfect location in the middle of the old town, to wonderfully designed room and common spaces. The room was beautiful, with comfortable bed and perfectly clean. We got a lot of recommendations what to visit and where to eat. They served standard sweet Italian breakfast, but made sure to ask about food allergies or intolerances so they can modify the breakfast if needed. We loved staying at U'Panare, and would love to go back.

Room full of character and host interest in the history of Taranto apparent with interesting curios throughout the property. Large breakfast each morning and on last morning host accommodated a 6am breakfast so we could catch an early train. Massive shared kitchen/ diner fully fitted to allow cooking

Beautiful room - the photos don't do justice to how nicely it has been furnished. Lovely hosts. Superb breakfast with both savoury and sweet, and local specialities. Appreciated being able to use the (also beautiful) kitchen. Wifi worked well. Great location in the old town and not far to walk to/from the bus and train station. Only a 1-night stay but enjoyed our quick walks around Taranto and seeing the different parts of the town, including various stages of restoration and urban renewal of the old town.

Incredible room in the best part of the old city. Clean, tidy, ordered. The hosts are warm and welcoming, but not overly present. Ample breakfast with great Pugliese food. Will try to stay again when I pass through town.

A very nice structure in the heart of historic town with elements that reminds of the old days combined with new materials and finishes.U'Panare has a philosophy behind and tries to attract the guests into it. The rooms are new,common spaces very welcoming, the host was very helpful, in one word excellent.

The location is fantastic if you want to be immersed in the old town. The attention to detail in the decor and comfort of the apartment was impressive. Breakfast was excellent and the host saw to every need.
