Although the location is far off from the center of Miami, Florida City has a few good restaurants located right by this hotel. The area around the hotel is quiet and the hotel itself looks new and is very clean. When I checked in the man at the front desk was not rude but was not really interested in customer service. Example: there was no greeting, no smile etc. However, the gentleman at the front desk named Bernard, was friendly, smiled and even joked with me. I also had a great experience with the cleaning staff as every time I saw one of them in the hall, they all looked me in my eyes, smiled and said hello. It’s the little things like that which makes a great customer service experience. The bed was really comfortable (I am surprised still), the breakfast was hot with ample selections - just make sure you get there early or it’ll be gone - and the room, lobby and dining areas are modern, cheery, and happy colors are used in the decor. The soaps and body lotion smells great and seems to be high quality. Oh, and how can I forget the TV? I am really pleased with its size and the selections such as HBO and other movie channels. I am thinking of adding another night but waiting to see if they will give me a Florida resident discount like they do at the Hilton Miami Dadeland. Great hotel, I’m happy!

The breakfast was good and the room was very comfortable.

I tried to extend for another night. I went to the front desk and the employee did his thing on the computer swiped my card and said I was all set. I wasn't I was asked to leave my room because for whatever reason their system did not show I extended it at the front desk. So ny wife was very disgruntled. We left. There should be a better system in place to make this type of thing easier.

Pet friendly, great breakfast, friendly staff, perfect location for our planned outings. I appreciate there is no carpet in the rooms. Upon arriving, I could tell the room had been cleaned and possibly deodorized. However, the smell of the product was irritating to me with my allergies. We had to turn the blower on high along with the bathroom fan and leave for a few hours.

Very good hot breakfast. Hot oatmeal, hot eggs and sausage . Also has a neat pancake maker all with the wave of your hand. The woman who stocked and cleaned the area was on top of restocking juice , yogurt and replenishing hot items bagels toast muffins cereal all available .I enjoy my two days of breakfast. Coffee and hot water for tea always available.

This hotel and this chain is great for short stays. Well worth the price. The bed was comfortable but the bedding could be up graded. I would like a cover for my oatmeal bowl to take up to the room.

I prepaid for my stay through Booking.com. When I checked in I was told that the room was not paid for, only reserved and I had to pay a higher amount. In the end I received a refund for the amount charged at check-in. I would much rather not go through the hassle!

The hotel was very clean, modern, very conveniently located to visit the Everglades. Their breakfast area was under renovation during our stay but they had a solution and had us have breakfast at the Home 2 Suites next door which worked great!

The AC unit in the room was quite loud, other than that it was great!

It was a relief entering the hotel after driving into town at night because the area is so rundown yet the staff and hotel conditions were just fine which made it comforting.

Not the hotel’s fault but wow this might be the worst area of the US along a tourist trail I’ve ever encountered. Yikes.

I liked how clean it was and how fancy it looked for the price. I also like the fact that it was pet friendly.

I didn’t like that no one was ever at the desk when I went up there. I also didn’t like the fact that there was no pool at the hotel. Why would I need to walk across the street to the other location to use the pool.

Pleasantly comfortable, staff went above and beyond including sorting me a room key when I locked mine within accidentally and was in a rush to get back out to go to an event.

Nothing, all was to my liking.

The staff Especially Melany, Ebony and Eileen! Very friendly! The breakfast, room and bed were excellent.

The shower head. The water radius was too small and adjusting it to another setting didn’t make it better.
