The location was amazing! Just in between Teatro Juárez and Callejón del Beso. So many restaurants near us and many nice places to see. So convenient for those night you're drained after so much walking around after sightseeing. We loved it. The staff members were all so nice and respectful, they would attend any request quickly and kindly. The hotel is old, but I mean good way old, Guanajuato style old ;) that's what you wanna see, it's part of the experience! I would definitely come back and will def recommend to friends and family.

Not about the hotel itself, but please notice there are no hotels with parking places in the city center. Still worth it for me at Hotel Mesón del Rosario. I would stay here again anyway.

The accommodations were excellent. The staff was very kind. I am disabled, and received no problems whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone I know -I had requested a room with minimum stairs because of my disability, and did actually receive such a room. If I came again, I would stay at this hotel.

Actually, there was nothing I really didn’t like . My concern of course was the minimum English That was spoken and understood. Actually that’s all that I didn’t particularly like the beds were a little bit.”stiffer” that I am used to, but that was it. I do highly recommend it.

The location is excellent. It is inside the city center. City attractions and restaurants are nearby. The staff are kind and nice. They can speak and understand English. Old hotel but still well-maintained. The room is spacious and clean, the TV is working.

I'm not too fond of the bathroom because it has no separation from the toilet. The wifi is not so stable. It is difficult to find free parking. It is just possible to go to paid parking if you go with a rental car.

The location is perfect because it's located in the downtown. Also the price is also cheap compared to the similar hotels nearby. The staffs are also super nice and provide luggage storage service after checking out.

Wifi is not super stable and kind of slow but is acceptable. Because it's near the main road so sometimes you would hear super loud noise during night. Meanwhile, they doesn't have separate bath and shower so the restroom could get wet after having the shower.

Great location, right in the center of the city. Although located in the middle of a bustling city, inside the hotel and courtyard it was surprisingly quiet. Nice outside area where we could sit in front of the room. Room is very basic, but had all we needed. We thought the rate was very reasonable.

A little fridge in the room would have been wonderful to keep our drinking water cooled. I would not have minded an extra charge for that.

Excelente location! A few steps from mayor points of interest. Theatre Juarez, kissing alley and Mercado Hidalgo.

A little noisy at knights but nothing a whole day walking can’t overcome

I liked the room, however it was hot, fan was provided but nowhere to plug it in, I had to place it on the bed luckily had 2 beds, wifi was not provided at check in. It was uncomfortable to call for hot water each time we needed to shower.

Wifi code provided and the fan already installed, room was cleaned and comfortable.

very very clean and in a perfect location just a 5 min walk away from most of the main cathedrals and squares. There is a cozy plaza right behind the hotel with numerous cafes and it was so convenient staying here. The hotel is very quiet aside from being right in the middle of it all, and although there was no outside views of the city, the courtyard inside the hotel was very beautiful and relaxing to sit inside on the balconies or patio sets. This hotel has a very traditional, classic Mexican atmosphere which I really enjoyed. The staff was helpful and friendly.

I stayed in 2 different rooms and the shower heads both seemed to be clogged with mineral salts, so the shower was not the best. Very small bathrooms but it had the essentials. The beds were quite firm, but they did have a great pillows and various bedding and fluffy blankets to choose from. No air conditioning but a nice large floor fan was provided and it did the trick.

Very clean hotel, lovely staff, and right in the middle of everything so great location. There was a fan in the room but that as all which was fine for us but just be aware. Wifi was OK. TV was available but we did not turn it on. Water was hot in the morning although pressure low.

Beds and pillows were very hard although bedding immaculately clean and ironed which was nice. No warm water in the evening but they were working on the boiler -- it was fine in the morning. No amenities at all like hair dryer. Fine for one night but just be prepared.

A 'old world' character hotel in the heart of a character town. It does not have the features of a modern hotel (there was plenty of hot water in the shower), but here you are getting charm, tiles and other features, like being greeted by two suits of armour!

My room was next to a road, though I slept fine. Ask for a room on the quite side of the hotel if required.
