Location - In centre of Cavtat. above bar - Not noisy or loud music - a very gentle and respectful resort Room - We have stayed at Villa Faaggioni before and our room was larger however we spent minimal time there as weather fabulous, loads to do, beautiful Bars and Restaurants, boat trips, walking Breakfast - this was in the Bar/Restaurant below rooms - Excellent choice and service Nora who runs these apartments is excellent has fantastic people skills and remembered us from last year Recommended to people we met while in Cavtat who were staying outside the Village, and friends upon our return

Room was beautiful with lovely view of harbour. Convenient for all the restaurants and amenities. Very modern bathroom. Breakfast was in the restaurant owned by the rooms. Excellent choice of food, you could order as much or as little on the breakfast menu. Waiting staff very friendly.

Hadn't expected steps up to the property which was not signposted. Being senior citizens, we found it extremely difficult carrying or should I say dragging our cases up the steps. When we finally found our room allocation, we were up another modern industrial staircase and our room was at the far end. In the evening there were no sensor lights in the corridor. Details about the booking arrangements were only accessible to us when we finally connected with the website.

The accommodation is well-located on the harbour frontand the view from our room was great. The room itself was well-equipped and comfy. The property was near lots of local facilities and had easy access to restaurants, etc... The staff at Villa Faggioni were really helpful and had lots of good suggestions for things to do.

Due to our late booking we had a room without any outdoor space however there was a communal terrace area just across the corridor from our room which was a lovely place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine.

This definitely exceeded our expectations! We loved staying here. Bedroom was very nice, extremely comfortable and clean, the surrounding area was safe and amazing and we have plans to come back next year. Staff were great and everyone was so, so nice.

The only tiny downside was that our bedroom didn’t have any natural light due to one window being directly to reception area outside and the other window had a wall in front of it. But didn’t make the stay unpleasant in any way and also that’s exactly what we paid for (cheaper and without a view).

Bed was very soft. No milk for tea. A person to actually talk to and explain where things were, like the terraces and no signs or information to say where upstairs led to, would have been appreciated. Stairs to the rooms were not suitable for infirm or elderly, which had not been indicated on the website when booking. If we hadn't had help from our taxi driver we would not have got our cases up.

The property is in an excellent location right on the Marina where all the restaurants and bars are, yet so quiet and comfortable in the room. Great air conditioning, lovely to have a fridge and wonderful to have dual aspects of the sea and rooftops of the town. Also the host (Nora) was extremely helpful and available. Great suggestions for places to eat and made us feel so welcome. We really enjoyed our breakfast in Zino- choose the omelette, freshly made!

We can’t fault it

Cavtat is a lovely little town. The accommodation is right on the water front and the view when you walk down the steps is beautiful. Breakfast is included at the restaurant downstairs and the selection is from the restaurant menu so this is very generous. Nora who manage the accommodation is very responsive and a lovely lady to assist and made our stay more enjoyable. She organised an airport pick up for us but our flight was delayed to nearly midnight but she assured us that the driver will be at the airport waiting for us. Clear instructions were relayed to us before our arrival as the entrance to the accommodation is up a flight of steps between two restaurants. We headed to Dubrovnik after our stay here and we took the boat to Dubrovnik which was a lovely way to get there. There are about 3 boat companies along the waterfront that offers 1 way trips for EURO 15 or return journey for EURO 20. The boat arrives into the Old Port in Dubrovnik. We could also take our luggage on board with no extra cost. Highly recommend.

Our room was small so it was functional for a quick stopover but not for a longer stay. If you plan to stay longer - advise is to book a bigger room.

We only stayed here for a day and a night before our flight out, but it was WONDERFUL! It is located right on the water in the middle of the center of town above wonderful restaurants and sidewalk cafes. The room had a great AC (it was very hot when we were there) and the bathroom was pristine and up to date. The check in process was very easy--not trying to call someone or find someone...instead they messaged us with clear directions as to where to find our key. The property also arranged an affordable and efficient private driver to take us early in the morning to the airport which also went perfectly. Would love to stay here again and for longer.

Nothing! The only thing that might be hard for someone else is if they had a LOT of luggage and planned to stay here for a few days. The room was a nice size with a closet hutch, but it would have been a little crowded for a heavier packer.

This was a charming little room near the waterfront of CAVTAT. Norah was extremely helpful on check-in, the room was clean. Breakfast was included, which was available downstairs at the café, where we could look at the harbor and order off the menu.

Our mattress was uncomfortable and saggy, but our friends who also stayed here did not have that problem. Also, our room only had a skylight as a view whereas our friends had views of the harbor. It was a little misleading as originally the views on the website were gorgeous.

The B&B is right in the center of Cavtat , it is clean and even though it is above restaurants it is not too loud. We were able to swim early morning in the sea in the little town. Breakfast is in one of the restaurants below the B&B. Nora was very responsive and we were able to get a discounted rate at the town car park (30 Euros - cash only for the discounted rate). We had the 3 person room so had a tiny balcony where we could sit to enjoy the lovely view of the sea and town promenade.

The pillows were uncomfortable and it would have been nice to have tea as well as instant coffee for the kettle.
