I am so happy with my choice! This hotel was fantastic. Room was very clean and had all I needed. I was also bigger than a lot of Japanese hotel rooms. I really like the availability of amenities and he laundry machines on my floor. Breakfast was amazing! Great variety and so tasty. Staff was so helpful and kind. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Kyoto. It is 10 mins walk away from the beautiful Inari Taisha shrine as well.

It has nothing to do with the hotel itself, but the location was a little out of my way. There was also not that many shops around, but at least the one combini store was well stocked.

Check-in/check-out time are superb! it’s 2pm/11am, respectively. Hotel is near bus station and few minutes walk to station. They also have Ta-q-bin services~ Staff are generally nice with my limited Japanese~ fast wifi!

when you go back late to your hotel, there is no direct bus near the hotel so be careful when accessing city bus at the evening. It might take 15-20min walk for the nearest bus station at late in the evening~ but hey! good excercise!

Breakfast was nice. Location wasn't bad, as places to visit in Kyoto are spaced out and you have to use transports a lot anyway. There are 2 stations nearby , one 10 min walk away and one 15 min walk away. There are also bus stops very close to the hotel. It was actually nice to feel like 'living' in a more local area. It was quiet. We asked reception to send our suitcases to Osaka when we left and that went super smoothly. For us there was no issue with the AC as was mentioned in previous comments. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Multiple corner shops at walking distance.

The room was very small, but we expected it to be. The bed wasn't very big either. The room was a little outdated but it wasn't too bad. Overall it is a decent hotel for the price you pay.

There are laundromats in the hotel, the shower has very good water pressure, alot of costumary products like pijama, face wash, toothbrush (pretty nice one too), shaving razors, tea packets, coffee packets and more. In the hotel theres also an electric kettle and hair drier. The rooms are really nice looking and the ac was very very powerful. Pretty good location too.

The hotel has a pretty annoying system in which they clean rooms once every 3 days, it kind of sucks not coming back to a tidy room everyday but its not that important. The staff speaks little to no english, the washing machine i used was broken and theres no place to get 100yen coins for the machine.

Breakfast quality was definitely the only thing that made me stay there! Top notch! Also the staff was very helpful and friendly. Keep in mind there’s a small parking space underneath hotel if you are planning on renting a car, for a fee …

I booked a twin room with twin bed . The size of the room is definitely smaller compared to an American hotel room. Also the bed is somehow smaller than American twin bed . Tiny bathroom , but clean !

We picked this hotel for it's proximity to Fushimi Inari Shrine and it was great. It's close to both the subway (1.2km/ 20 min walk) and the train line.. Check in was smooth, amenities are right by the elevators and a fairly comfy room. Across the street from Family Mart for snacking.

Room was a little run down: old spill stains on the wall and some damaged window shutters. The pillow was a little flat for me. You are right down the block from the University but it's a suburb so still not too noisy.

The rooms were clean, quiet and equipped with all the facilities I needed. Excellent housekeeping rota - room cleaned once every 3 days but bins emptied and towels changed daily. The washing machine, driers and vending machines on two floors were very useful for my week long stay. A good restaurant on site too that is reasonably priced - an evening meal with alcoholic drink for about Y1600. The staff were impeccably polite and respectful. Good location 10-15 mins walk to Inari. There are two train stations on different lines within easy walking distance that take you to most places between them. The metro is a bit further but still very walkable in around 15-20mins.

Booked it just so we can take a sunrise hike at the Fushimi Inari and for that it was perfect - the hotel itself is roughly 10 min from the temple. Rooms are small but all that you need. Excellent breakfast.

Made a mistake of not getting the breakfast via the booking platform but decided to get in on the spot. It ended up being far more expensive.

I like the property because its walking distance to fushimi inari and we are able to go there early.. about 12-15mins walk i think.. we arrive there before the area becomes crowded.. plus it is also walking distance to station.

I didn't like the bidet in our room.. we stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days.. our first day is good but the 2nd day the bidet works but suddenly stops without doing anything.. and on our 3rd day it only works fine once but the succeeding use, it is not working..

The place is near the Inari shrine and the Nara-line trains. Lots of different food places around. Clean, good value for money.

The hotel is right near the police academy, and since it's new years, the sirens were heard everyday at some point. Nothing to do about it, but my elderly father got really concerned about the non-stop police signals around the block. Also the rooms are pretty small, which also cannot be helped, so travelers should be ready for it.
