- handwash soap dispenser was empty. Also no soap bar. - the elevator ping can be heard in the room, which is annoying - some sound insullation would be nice.

The breakfast was generous, with lots of food sortiments. The downstairs bar was great and comfortable to drink tea and hot chocolate, to warm at night. Dinner as well was a joy to eat. Quiet during the day and night and could get some fine rest. Staff friendly and prompt.

Sadly, I would have to say that I was not very pleased with the cleanliness. There was dust on the furniture and TV table and the mattress could have used a good swipe. Also, a bit surprised by the swimming pool pricing and the water was cold.

I've been before, it's been modernised, well worth the three stars. Most of the staff in the restaurant are oriental, much better than the locals are used to.

It's not the hotel's fault, but it's unacceptable that you can't go out after dusk because you're likely to meet a bear. Every day between 9 and 10 pm there was a bear alert. If you cannot go into the forest, climb mountains because there are bears a few hundred meters from the settlement during the day, there is nothing to do in Predeal. Too bad.

Breakfast started only at 8 am (why so late??), but our train left Predeal at 08:07 am, so we couldn't eat at the hotel.

Luxurious and friendly hotel. In this hotel all the equipment and decorations look shine and work well like in a newly opened hotel. Very clean. The swimming pool.

I liked the way this old hotel was renovated, all was clean and in good condition. The room was a bit small, but had everything we needed. I would say a bit too hot in the room and I couldn't swich off a bit the heater no matter which direction I choose to swich it.. the restaurant was nice, the staff as well, I found the food tasty and accesible price wise. And I have particularly appreciated the place for allowing us to bring with us Zoey, our small dog and allowing us to enjoy this small vacay together. For a 3 stars hotel, that's the way to go! Well done!;)

15-20 min away from slopes by walking can seem long for a 7 years old, but you can also take the car in the parking nearby for 4 ron/hour if you go earlier in the morning.
