Beautiful location, on a hill with beautiful views of the city. We were travelling as a family (4 persons), the free parking is convenient, the room is spacious with terrace, clean, the staff is friendly, the pool and the on-site restaurant are advantages. The breakfast is quite extensive compared to other hotels in Italy (scrambled eggs, bacon, several types of croissants and pastries, fruit, dry breakfast, yoghurt, ham and cheese)

There was an intermittent smell of sulphur from an active volcanic area nearby. It didn't bother us, but rather had a kind of exotic uniqueness

Hotel is up the top of a very steep hill. Pool is only open July and August. We missed this in the small print of the booking. The first picture on the bookings website is of the Hotels pool. It might be a good idea to highlight this on that picture. That being said, the staff did open the pool for two of the days we were there. But just be aware you may not be so fortunate.

Hotel is in a wonderful location, with views of the sea and Vesuvius. Delicious breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great pool, only it is deep, if you have small children you should take that into account. The room is good, the beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is a bit old but clean. A very nice balcony with furniture and a view of Vesuvius. The air conditioner and wifi work perfectly. For car is free parking lot next to the hotel. The hotel is on a very steep hill,but you can go to the center and return by free taxi until 20:00. 20 minutes by car to Naples, 5 minutes to the center of Pozzuoli, where are many great cafes to eat deliciuos food.

No kettle in the room or glass, cups etc.. breakfast only has scrambled eggs, boiled eggs and cheese and ham.. loads of pastries cakes, fruit, cereal, yogurts etc but not enough warm cooked options. Nevertheless breakfast was nice.

The position is outstanding with fabulous views across to Procido and Ischia. Access is up a long, long hill so you need either a car or taxi unless you love steep hills! The hotel also offers a shuttle service to the train station in Pozzuoli for Naples (30mins on train) or onto Sorrento/Pompei etc. Rooms were good, plenty of storage. Balcony and view a real plus. Guests need to be aware that the hotel is a perfect place for birthday parties etc so you can find that each night there is something going on. We had two events but we weren’t in any way affected. Some music of course but not a problem for us. It is also a venue for conferences during the day. Again, no problem to us as we were out doing tourist things! Gli Dei is a very large, expansive and modern hotel so it’s easy to find seats in the shade or in the sun. We can recommend the hotel. The food was very good (we ate in the hotel one night) and breakfast provided a range of options including scrambled egg and bacon. Reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. Giuseppe was especially a great help. Some of the serving staff were a little abrupt and “distant”. Whether this is training and policy we didn’t know as other staff were very nice and made us feel welcome. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 3 nights.

Not a dislike. An observation. The pool wasn’t available to us due to conference events and there were no sun beds etc around the pool for relaxing. The pool was a definite plus when we booked so we were a little disappointed we couldn’t use it.

We loved the pool and the breakfast buffet. The mini fridge was well stocked although expensive. A signora helped us to our room. It’s about a 25 minute drive to downtown Naples. Luckily we discovered a popular pizzeria down the road called Ammaccam.

After a long day of travel and checking in at 4:00pm we were disappointed to discover that the pool closed at 7:00pm. That is early even compared to US standards. I wish you could park closer or they had a bellman to help with luggage. It was a far walk from our room to the car with heavy bags.

Great beach view, nice swimming pool, nice restaurant on the pool. Very good breakfast with various food options. Nice and helpful staff. Free shuttle to Pozzuoli city center and train station.

Do not ask the hotel to book you a taxi to airport or Napoli central station. The available taxis are not so good.

Located on the top of the hill, just after the "solfatara of Pozzuoli", this hotel is offering great view form all the rooms, either faced on the beautiful Gulf of Posillipo or to the mountains on the back from where you can see the Vesuvio. Wide rooms with terrace. Good breakfast. Free parking, good facilities. Sometimes (depending on the wind) you can smell the sulfur from the nearby vulcano.

The views were breathtaking, very nice breakfasts. Superb lunch and dinner prepared by wonderful chefs, very professional and friendly staff. Huge room, bathroom and terrace with stunning views. Fantastic pool and pool area with plenty of sun loungers. Would definitely comeback.
