We used this as our sleeping base for Phantasialand trip, so everything that I was expecting from the hotel was there: parking lot, comfy beds with nice bathroom and etc. There is a great restaurant on the other side of the street, which is worth checking out.

I was expecting higher standard from the breakfast, food selection could have been more varied and the taste of the warm dishes was just short of anything other than acceptable. Also, the hotel’s restaurant was not available during our stay (I believe it was being refurbished).

Very quiet room, no noise at all even though the hotel was fully booked due to Gamescom. AC was ok, not too cold. The continental breakfast was decent. Rooms were very clean and everything was and felt new. Just a 15 min walk from the Spich train station. If you are traveling to the Cologne city centre or the Koln Messe, this hotel would suit you perfectly.

The AC had a rattling noise at high speed. We simply lowered the fan speed a bit and it was dead quiet. Just something the owners may want to look at.

It's my third time staying here and it was as clean and comfortable as I remembered it. Friendly staff, spotless rooms, quality ingredients for the breakfast. There is a gas station with a mini-market, a McDonalds and another restaurant nearby. Train station is a pleasant 10-15 minutes walk away. It was a great stay for us for Gamescom, considering the ridiculous prices hotels have in Koln during the event.

Compared to past years, breakfast options were quite limited, even though of quality.

I stayed for one night and had a very good experience. Check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly and professional. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and it’s a bonus that the hotel is dog-friendly. Breakfast offered a good variety, including takeaway coffee cups, which was useful for an early start. The location is ideal, with restaurants nearby and easy access to the airport and motorway.

The only drawback was the €15 charge for parking, which seemed high for an overnight stay.

The breakfast was excellent, good choice of products and takeaway cups for the coffee and takeaway pastry bags really go a long way if someone is in a hurry. We had breakfast in the hotel but took our coffee away and I liked having this option. The beds were also comfortable and we slept well. The location is fantastic, right next to the motorway so we didn’t have to waste time driving to the centre.

When I entered our room it smelled of cigarette smoke. I immediately complained and was given an other room straight away. Unfortunately, that too felt like someone had smoked in it but it was less smelly than the first one and at least we could open the window a little which helped. I think installing smoke detectors and maybe putting up signs would help solve this issue. There is comfortable smoking area outside the entrance so there is no need for people to smoke inside.

Great value for money, especially with breakfast included. A good hotel for underway to southern Germany.

The car park cost €15, which we found expensive considering it wasn't secure apart from a barrier. It's next to a petrol station, in a commercial zone with big stores that are deserted after opening hours. There were groups of people meeting at the petrol station during the night to chat and joke with each other, so we couldn't keep our room window open during the night. The rear of the hotel overlooks some roads.

The staff were very attentive, professional and friendly. One pointer: I called reception (on 3 different occasions over 2 different days), and the phone simply rang out. So there is a need for more staff, as the hard-working (1) reception guy, is not able to be in every place at every time. Breakfast was very nice. The only thing I would add is that I would have liked scrambled eggs, the hard-boiled eggs felt 3 days old.

It was unfair that parking cost €14 "per night" for a private visit. That was absolutely exhorbitant. In my mind, parking should be included in the cost of the hotel. We hired a cheap car from the airport, and the parking was more expensive than the car hire itself.

The room was not prepared for 4 persons sleeping. There were not enough duvets but we got additional from the receptionist on request. The bed was very comfortable and bed linen clean and fresh. We liked that it was possible to open the window. The receptionist Klaudius was very helpful and made our breakfast bags upon departure. He answered our requests and left a good impression upon arrival and departure.

It was mentioned that breakfast was served from 7 o'clock. In reality it was almost ready when we went downstairs at 5:30 so we could have taken it instead asking for take away option which was a plain sandwich made by the receptionist and it was not the money we paid for breakfast. It should be possible to eat from 5 o'clock or whenever the food is ready. Parking next to hotel should be for free. There was not enough tee/coffee in the room for 4 persons.

Perfect as always! I love to stay here whenever I travel to Germany and every time is amazing! The staff are great and are always there to help. I speak German and English so the staff are always able to help out regardless of language. The rooms are always super clean and cosy. The only downside is that I wish I was there to stay longer! Another lovely stay thank you

The breakfast could start at 6 o’clock and end at 12 o’clock.
