The location was rural, which was lovely, although it is set at the edge of a small village which has some interesting areas, and it is possible to walk over to the sea. The dinner was Filipino, which would have been fine, but we were lured away to dine at a cheese shop just up the road. The breakfast the next morning was extremely good.

Our main memory of staying here was that the room was small and somehow very spartan. Difficult to describe, but the room needed some soul!

The location is good, close to the sea and the mountains. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, the asian style dinner is delicious and especially different from the other restaurant which serve pretty much the same food everywhere. The owners speak English, which is a plus. The hotel has a nice garden outside and a big parking space.

The cows outside are wearing bells and they eat in the middle of the night too, so it gets pretty loud.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The family run hotel has everything you need for an overall stay. Warm welcome and helpful owner ensured we got our stay off to a good start. We chose this hotel to go to restaurant Casa Poli that is only a five minute walk away. For that the location was perfect. Free, secure parking was a bonus. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Especially the Brownie. We’d definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

Although the location was a little out of the way from LLanes, Hotel Pugide and its surroundings had lots to offer for us bike touring folk. Great dinner and breakfast at the hotel, Safe storage for bikes. Very close to Restaurante Casa Poli which is amazing. Great hiking trails down to Bufones of Arenillas. Getting there from the east by bike, be sure to take AS-343, as its gorgeous and quite. Finally, amazing hosts.

Wonderful stay in comfortable hotel with superb staff. The location was quiet in a sweet town. Alejandro and his wife were superb hosts, telling us about sites to see in the area. They have a nice bar area where we played cards in the evening. Also, the breakfast was excellent.

Everything was good except they only had tub showers, which is challenging because I am in a wheelchair

A really nice place to stay. We arrived after a 13hr motorcycle ride and were greeted by Alejandro who had everything quickly organised for us with the rooms. We quickly retired to the outside patio and some well chilled beers. The rooms are fairly basic, but roomy and everything was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and there was a decent shower. Breakfast, included, was typical Spanish with hot pastries, cheese and cold meats along with a freshly made tomato salsa. There is a nearby restaurant called Casa Polli, about 5 mins walk, which was excellent and super busy with locals. Motorcycle Specific. Great stopover as completely secure at night. 1;30 from Bilbao. 1hr Santander. Great stopover for groups. Hard to imagine more helpful and friendly staff. Would make a great base for exploring the Picas Europa as close by is the N621 which has to be one of the best bike roads in Europe.

The hotel was super clean, friendly, welcoming. We had a big room with a very comfortable bed and pretty outlook. The bar/ restaurant was cosy and food excellent. Good parking. Really good value, would highly recommend.

The owner was exceptionally friendly. She allowed us to book in late. She spoke English very well and even helped us to find the Bufones that is a national nature monument close by. They warned us beforehand about the festival that was going on and the noise. However we were tired so it didn't bother us at all.

Wish we could have stayed longer. It is a great area.

Loved everything about it. Staff really friendly, had a very pleasant relaxing atmosphere, breakfast was super and location brilliant. Loads of parking spaces and just ideal for everything that a family would need. Don’t be fooled by the 2 stars - it was 5 star service in every way.

The best two-star hotel we have stayed in on our journey in Asturias. The restaurant was amazing, all the food we tried was excellent. The hotel is super close to one of the natural monuments "bufones". The staff was very nice and friendly. Can't but recommend this place!
