Great location for a family holiday in Sligo. Large, comfortable double suite that sleeps 4. Pool and gym facilities are excellent. Wide variety of choices at breakfast. Dinners in the bar or restaurant were good value. Staff were very polite and attentive. Regular bus services to Sligo town or Rosses Point pass the front of the hotel.
We stayed during unusually warm weather and the room was too hot at night. The window could only open by a small amount and there was no air conditioning available. Only a desk fan was provided which didn't cool the room.

Room was very spacious and comfortable - much more so than I have found in city hotels that try to fit lots of rooms into a limited space. There's an onsite bistro pub that has a modest range of good food without trying to have a bigger menu and end up being average at everything. There's also a restaurant where breakfast was served - we didn't eat there in the evening.
Rooms were comfortable if a little basic. Our room had a kettle, fridge, iron & board, TV etc. and thankfully a proper shower screen and not a horrible curtain. The bed and pillows were nice. The black-out curtains were fantastic. The room felt like it had money spent on it a good few years ago and has been maintained for a long time.

We experienced a friendly welcoming receptionist upon arrival, we were very happy with our room, it was a lovely breakfast & had a great variety of food available, friendly & helpful staff/receptionist at the pool area, kids play room/games was such a great option to keep my toddler occupied. The grounds of the hotel are quite large & perfect for a stroll after breakfast. Stunning view also.
Breakfast was very busy both mornings. Replenishing of food was slow with a few of the buffet dishes/displays empty. The cups went very quickly which ment waiting around for more to come out. There was always a massive que for the tea/coffee machine which was disappointing as it would of been nice to have tea with our breakfast rather than after.

The hotel is located in the northern part of Sligo in a lovely stone walled building. The access to the leisure centre and pool was complimentary for guests and provided a great way to wind down after a long day. The restaurant was large and well furnished. There was plenty of complimentary parking as well. The family suite was a large two-bedroom apartment with plenty of room.
There was some confusion in the booking regarding the use of the second bedroom for the family suite. Initially when we arrived the second bedroom room was closed. However, the staff where quick to recitfy this. There wasn't any utensils in the kitchenette but thankfully we did not need them.

Bar food was overpriced and smaller portions than expected, had the steak and was hungry an hour later which I would expect after McDonalds but not after paying €37 for a plate which was a lot slimmer than I hoped, while I hope to go back again but I’ll try elsewhere for the dinner, breakfast was good just no fried eggs but everything else was available, also every bedroom had an unnecessary additional door to an unknown room, after googling the history of the building I will be bringing a riser access key for my next visit, I feel this will unlock the full potential of the room,

Everything … . Able to check in on line & pick up keys without having to queue at desk . Food was excellent and plenty of variety . Lots of parking spaces and free. All staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant from the restaurant staff to the staff at the pool . Great location also and beautiful setting. The rooms were spotless and spacious . The standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent . Would highly recommend one of the best hotels I have stayed in . Lots to see and do in the area and beautiful beaches nearby . Lots of shops for anyone who enjoys shopping.
Nothing - wish we could have stayed longer

Ideal for young families, plenty of space in the room and in the Hotel. Large hallways, plenty of seating in communal areas and a large self contained grounds to walk around. Plus plenty's of activity within the hotel for kids, swimming pool, games room, sweet shop and kids club. Buffet Breakfast is busy, but extremely well run and has everything you would expect and tastes great. Loads of staff working in the hotel and all are extremely friendly and helpful. Great experience overall.
NYE dinner, we were looking for something special and it was similar food available in the bar. Tables not laid out, no table cloth on the tables and service was slow... but this was probably just our expectation as we ate at the bar the previous nights with the children and it was an excellent experience, We just thought that the NYE dinner in the dining room would be more festive and more of a dining experience. But again this was our expectation and the hotel didn't advertise it as anything different so this very minor issue was our own fault. We probably should have went off site for this one evening meal. All food and drinks we got during our stay were otherwise perfectly

The hotel was one of the best family friendly hotels I've stayed in. My 3 kids had the best time. There is so much for the kids to do, pool, crazy golf, fairy walk, kids club. The restaurant was very accomodating for kids. Great menu and great staff. All the staff, restaurant, reception and leisure center were fantastic. Really helpful and friendly. The family room was massive and we were very comfortable there. Overall a fantastic stay, we'll be back!
Very little to fault with this hotel but the only comment is the kitchenette in the family room didn't have any cutlery/tableware. Would be great to have a few basic bits

Every member of staff we encountered were exceptional. The restaurant food in the evening was lovely and we ordered breakfast to the room the next morning, it was first class. They offer a tent service in the room for wee ones, which we ordered for €15 and it was brilliant, all set up on arrival along with kids activity packs. There’s also a sweet shop in the hotel a lovely we novelty for children and adults. Also having a pool at the hotel was great! The hotel was very clean and the rooms. The bar and restaurant were beautiful and lovely festive decorations. My daughter has autism and when booking the restaurant we asked for a quiet seating area. This was noted and accommodated subtly. Our food was brought out quick and timely making it an enjoyable experience for us all.
This is more feedback than criticism. The rooms are a bit dated decor wise, however very comfortable and all fittings are good quality. The swimming pool and changing rooms would definitely benefit from a makeover. It would really take the hotel to a new level.

Breakfast was great - it tops anything you get elsewhere and lots of options for small children. Our room was really comfy - only drawback was the telly didn't work. the signal was bad (my son thought it was Minecraft). Tried to access the smart menu, but no luck, and couldn't stream from my phone either. I was wondering why they kept the TV here as it was a source of annoyance for me tbh The kids activities are excellent - swimming pool, spa and gym facilities also first rate
Everything else was great apart from the telly
