Excellent value for money and a perfect location for exploring Sligo and Leitrim. The facilities were first class with an exceptionally well equipped kitchen. Small touches such as assigned cupboards, crockery, cutlery and storage in the fridges were great ideas. The fact there was a choice of an electric or gas hob was also a nice touch. There is a large dining room with lovely views of the beautifully maintained garden. The lounge also offered a great space to relax and unwind with a large TV, a good selection of books and toys for families with children. The bed was very comfortable and the entire premises were clean and tidy. We will definitely stay again.

Very small details such as no curtains but they do supply eye masks.

It was a great location, secure and very clean. The beds were so comfortable (2 Twin room w/private bath). The kitchen facilities were incredibly well laid out for sharing! Around the building the gardens were lovely and peaceful. We especially loved the donkeys braying and owls hooting!

The green nightlight over the beds was convenient, but bright. Bring a sleep mask! The room doors close hard and the group staying at the same time just let them slam - all night each night.

We found the ensuite twin room to be comfortable and clean. It was good to have a full kitchen to cook our meals (you can drive to a couple of places if you prefer to eat out). The lounge area was very comfortable. Nice that the place is community run and owned.

It can be a little noisy in the hallway areas depending on which groups are staying. If you are a light sleeper, bring a sleeping mask to block out the green ceiling light (personally it didn't bother me).

This is my 4th time here. Loved the location and Sligo is so underrated as well, so love the nature the centre is surrounded with. Everything was spotless.

Just our room’s TV wasnt switched on, the host offered us another room so everything was ok at the end. We didn’t take the other room as it was only for a night. The only other thing would give a feedback about it the heating on at night and the kitchen area. I dont think its necessary for the summer ! 😊

Everything:) Just wish knew not to bring as much with us as place was so well equipped. Kitchen has all you could need and the cleaning products. Beds were more comfortable that typically hotel ( mattress was on single bed not bunks- bunks mattress still good) Very safe relaxed atmosphere no compromise by staying here . Tea, coffee & sugar and cooking oil provided. Very relaxing stay. Sitting room was nice and spent some time there reading and watching tv . Place was kept in great order and all very clean and organised.

We did not stay for breakfast as we were in a bit of a rush to visit friends and relatives, however we did have a nice little breakfast in town down near the quays.

It could not have been any better, It has a beautiful garden and peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We are hoping to go back there next year for maybe a bit longer. Kitchen, dining area and lounge were very nice and had everything you really needed..All you needed to bring with you was a little bit of food and a lot of respect, Great spot, brilliant county and I am highly recommending it, am just a bit peeved I did not take any photos Regards Martin..

The location was perfect for accessing local hiking trails. Our room was comfortable and clean. We liked the centre’s environmentally friendly and community-oriented values. Great choice of books in the communal lounge!

Sometimes the doors slammed shut and the noise echoed down the corridors at night. Maybe put a sign on the doors to remind people to close them considerately

I love the Benwiskin Centre. the staff are amazing. The kitchen is very clean and tidy. The rooms are basic but very clean. The beds and mattresses is so comfortable. The centre was busy but all guests were respectful of noise so the rooms were so quiet. Gardens beautiful and so well kept. Amazing location close to wonderful beaches. Had a lovely stay.

Nothing very well managed busy centre.

They are very friendly and open to help. It's not a B&B but a Hostel, we had a family room with our own bathroom. The kitchen is well equiped and every room have their own space at the refrigerator and place setting! We were attending to the Remenbering Armada Festival and it's 15 minutes driving to Grange, although at night it's a challenge due to the narrow roads. Anyway we had a very good time there! We will come back soon!

the green alarm light in the room! If you're the kind of person that need darkness for sleep it's a challenge!

Rooms and facilitates all excellent

No tv in the room, for €70 a night and how cheap and easily available tv's are these days, i feel there should be a TV in the room. Just for hooking up my own laptop or tv stick, easily done and would make a massive improvement
