Very central . Access to all areas, especially the train and buses. We'll worth a visit.
I was not too happy happy having to pay €4 a day for the hotel car park. It should be free if your paying for your accommodation. Its free else where.

We got a balcony room, which was great for watching the mute swans on the river below. No street noise made it up to the third floor. Room was spacious and clean. Really appreciated the hotel working with my asthma and fragrance/chemical allergies - no issues at all. Have to give a shout-out to the young lady on the front desk who went out of her way to get my pants to the cleaners (mud from Downpatrick Head hike) and back to me the next morning. Parking is in the underground garage - you need to have a small vehicle to fit down there. It was secure and easy to get in and out. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good, as was the restaurant. Ate one night at The Kitchen - dinner was excellent, dessert was a disappointment - premade tarts that were obviously not made on site. There was a bus tour group while we were there, but it still didn't make you feel crowded. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely room with a superking bed. Lots of pillows. Excellent view of river. Central area to local amenities. The breakfast was excellent bar no pancakes provided as per the menu. Reception and all other staff perfectly amenable. Parking was easy and reasonable cost.
The domestic staff were very reluctant to place biscuits x2 packets in the room so we shared one day. One day she didn't want to really put any in. Could do with an ice dispenser alongside the cool water dispensers. Unfortunately the breakfast menu stated pancakes but both mornings there were not any.

The staff was really helpful when we informed them that the hot water handle was not working. We could not get the water hot at all. Only tepid at best. They sent maintenance right up, and then when they couldn't fix the issue, they moved us to another room.
The bed was just okay. But terrible, but definitely not the most comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was lackluster. The fruit looked like it had been cut no less than 4 days before being served. You can tell that it was refrigerated after slicing and likely was not stored in an airtight container.

Room had amazing river view and balcony. It was super spacious with great lighting, comfy bed and armchairs, bath and shower were great and they were super easy to use (some places can feel like you need a manual to figure out how they operate!), plugs by bedside, everything was really clean, lovely kettle and tea coffee facilities, comfy robes and slippers, handwritten welcoming card. Staff were super friendly, check in was a breeze and they kindly kept our bags in storage before we checked in. We treated ourselves to room service and it came so quickly and presentation was at a fine dining level. Breakfast had a great offering with hot and cold options including bread from a local bakery and gluten free offerings including cereal. The location of the place is super central, only a short walk to train and bus station and less than 100m away is the local bus stop. They also have parking if you are driving. Honestly we were blown away by the experience of the stay and wished we were staying longer.

Really nice bedroom, spacious, well decorated. A safe was provided. The bed was very large and comfortable.
The shower needed fixing as water spurted everywhere when turned on. As I'd arrived late in the evening I wasn't motivated to request to get it fixed. Wasn't a big fan of the breakfast. Rather than self service you waited in the queue for the hot food and were served. This in itself was fine, it was the fact everyone had to wait for the toast that caused a queue. If you did not want toast you still needed to wait. I also didn't get any tea or coffee. I couldn't see where to get it from and assumed a member of staff would come to the table but that didn't happen.

The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The girl who served us dinner was really kind and went out of her way to find out what dishes I could eat as a coeliac. I really appreciated her help. The room was lovely, bed comfortable and it was spotless. The only tiny issue was an insistent hum that started in the room just after 6am. When we turned off the air conditioning it stopped so it must have been that. After dinner we went up to the bar, it was lovely and atmospheric with a beautiful view out over the river. Our room had a little balcony where you could sit outside and watch the swans on the river. I'd definitely recommend The Glasshouse for a great night away.
The noise from the air con at 6am🙈

Excellent location in the centre of Sligo town. Very pleasant staff from front desk, breakfast waiters/ waitresses & cleaning staff too. Breakfast choice was good. Deluxe double room had small little balcony overlooking river. Room comfortable with all the necessary toiletries & dressing gowns, slippers.
Expensive for 2 nights stay in August but cheaper than Dublin prices. Food menus didn't have a great selection for vegetarians so we ate elsewhere instead. Having to pay for underground parking & not enough lifts for the size of the hotel.

Staff (Elaine) was phenomenal. Location fantastic. Room was spacious, clean, well cared for, and extremely comfortable. Room service was grand. Validated parking for a discount. Late night pizza, on point. Probably the best place stayed the whole 2 weeks in Ireland.
Parking structure was a bit obscure in finding. I found it by chance by taking a wrong turn. However, parking was great, and attached to hotel. Breakfast was standard-ish, but okay.

Superb hotel in a fantastic location. Centrally located for all bars/restaurants and shops. The underground carpark was ideal to leave the car safe and secure. Hotel bar ambience, decor and staff were amazing.
The bar manager in the main bar. He was very unpleasant towards the staff at one point. The atmosphere from the bar went from jovial and welcoming - to everyone heads down, looking very miserable. We decided not to have another drink. It was such a shame as from a customer perspective the staff had been working their socks off all evening and being extremely friendly with guests/customers.
