Wonderful place with a fantastic hostess, Maureen! What else? Nevertheless, during our stay in Ireland (6 different places, hotels, lodges etc.), Maureen's breakfast was the number one, even the breakfast normally is fine everywhere in this country. But the preparation, the service, the bacon and the other foods were the best. When I'm saying service, it's much more: talking with Maureen before and after is a unique experience, it sets the atmosphere of your stay here. Thank you Maureen for everything!

Maureen, the host, was wonderful. She has a lovely B&B on a hillside that looks out to the Atlantic. The rooms are comfortable and accommodating. The Breakfast was just what my wife and I enjoyed. It was a great, and highly recommend, stay. It is about a 30 minute walk from the village of Grange. The ocean was a 20 minute walk. While a car is probably best to have, we were traveling via public transit and made it work. It is a B&B and as such, does not have a large resort hotel amenities. But it has a kind hostess, comfortable surroundings, and a place to relax and enjoy
Stay was too short

The room had a view to the garden and the sea. A nice country side house, 16 km from Sligo. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Wifi was better than expected. The host is very nice to the guests and prepared a great breakfast. She had also a foulder with tourist information and suggestions for eating in the area. We went to Henry´s bar and restaurant after finding it in the foulder and had duck for dinner. We recommend it.
Everything was fine

I cannot put into words how truly magical our day spent at your beautiful establishment in Sligo has been. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and genuine Irish hospitality that made us feel right at home. The picturesque surroundings, with the rolling hills and lush greenery, provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with tranquility and relaxation. The attention to detail in every aspect of the lodge, from the charming decor to the impeccably clean and comfortable rooms, was simply impeccable. The staff at Mount Edward Lodge are a true testament to the exceptional service you provide. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and willingness to go above and beyond made our stay even more memorable. It's evident that they take great pride in ensuring every guest has a remarkable experience. And let's not forget about the breakfast! The delicious spread of fresh, local ingredients served in your cozy dining area was a delightful way to start the day. The flavors and quality of the food were a true testament to the care and dedication that goes into every aspect of the guest experience. Thank you!
Did not remember things like this.

A very well located B & B, ideal base for exploring Sligo and the North West. The property itself was immaculately presented. The bedroom was lovely with a beautiful view. Breakfast was very good and Maureen, the hostess was very friendly, attentive and helpful with advice about the locality. We will happily return to stay again.
We had no complaints whatsoever

Maureen has plenty of experience as a host and it shows. She made sure we had everything we needed, keeps a spotlessly clean house and cooks a great breakfast. We felt very much at ease here and could enjoy an amazing view from our spacious room. Mount Edward is an excellent base from which to explore Sligo and the south of Donegal. We would surely stay here again.

Our hostess, Maureen, was an absolute delight. She was very friendly and helpful, especially with local places to dine and local attractions to visit. Our room was very comfortable and facilities were spotless. Breakfast had a number of choices and tasted delicious. The view from our room was beautiful and the views from the conservatory/breakfast room were gorgeous even on an overcast day. I felt the price of the room was more than fair.

Fantastic host, she clearly works very hard and is very friendly. The accommodation was clean, a spacious comfortable room, the breakfast was exceptional with many options (homemade pancakes to die for) and the location is simply stunning, many areas of natural beauty all around.
The only small thing is that the shower could be modernised but it really wasn't a big issue.
