The place is a hidden gem, everything about it was amazing. The place was recently renovated, so everything in the rooms is new and was barely used. While the location looks right on the road between Ljubljana and Zagreb, it's actually a bit elevated, so passing traffic doesn't bother you at all - instead adds some charm when having some drinks at the bar. The restaurant was also very good and we enjoyed the food and drinks there. There were more then enough of entertainment for our kid as well, so he wasn't bored at all (which is extremely hard to do, hehe). Staff was extremely helpful and saved us with extremely useful advices and was very nice and polite overall. Beds despite being soft, were really comfy, so I slept like a baby there. So I can only recommend the place and will totally stop by when will be in the area.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a very convenient location, close to the freeway.

We had a dinner in the restaurant and breakfast in the morning. The dinner was partially ok, but we had to skip one of four ordered meals because it was raw meat and very cold, as if it was prepared for someone else, hours ago (Dolenjc Burger)..The breakfast is ok, even though half an hour before the end of breakfast time almost no food was left and we could not find a place to sit. All 5-6 tables were taken. I have visited hundreds of hotels, but never experienced anything similar.

There was a difference between the two triple rooms we had, one wasnt great. We did get a premium upgrade also which was good... Pizzeria was good but bowling alley was full so we couldnt get kids to play.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing. The food didn't look very appetizing. Some of the food had run out and wasnt refilled and we were there early. the sausages looked bad, but one variety was apparently tasty. The coffee machine wasn't working properly and needed staff attention. There was bowling alley music through to our rooms but we were so tired and passed out

We loved our stay at hotel Dolenjc. First of all, the hotel has a large play area which is amazing for families with kids. The location is excellent, just above the highway and it doesn't waste you any time. The facilities were also excellent, with a large eating area, a bowling alley, an arcade etc. Our family room was also very spacious. Finally, the staff was extremely helpful and polite and definitely made a lasting impression on us! Thank you!

A usefully located hotel near to the A2 near Novo Mesto in Slovenia but not too near. We stayed overnight when travelling from near Zadar to southern Germany. We stayed as a group of five people in two rooms. The beds were comfy, breakfast was fine and hearty with unlimited everything, the room insulation is a bit thin in places but this wasn't a problem and everyone slept very well. The parking is directly outside and everything is very uncomplicated which was just what we needed whilst travelling through.

Walls between rooms are a bit thin in places otherwise everything fine.

Everything was good, but staff and location are still the greatest values of the Hotel. We had to leave early and before restaurant opening hours, but the staff made sure that we received breakfast boxes at our checkout. Recommended and would book again any time.

Our room had rather poor wifi signal, which personally didn’t bother me much but may some. For those it may be a good idea to request during booking a room close to wifi router (our was all the way down the hall).

Great location for our one night stop. Decent cues restaurant and bar, very friendly staff and a cat called Frankie. Thunderstorm at night so we didn’t sleep well but not hotels fault. Good breakfast. Kids being noisy but it is a family hotel so expected and it stopped by 10pm .

Air con not working in room but my husband had opened the window despite notice. Nothing else I can criticise.

Rooms were clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast was self service, enough variety of food, but I missed coffee from espresso machine. For dinner we had pizza there. There are enough parking spaces in front of hotel.

Beds were a bit hard. At night two times a fire alarm turned on. I woke up and checked the situation. No fire. But it took quite long time before it was turned off. So we did not really slept well there.

Very good hotel if you travel through Slovenia - located on the highway with big parking slot. Very good restaurant with rich and tasty menu. Friendly hotel staff ready to help with whatever you need. Spacious and clean rooms and baths. Very good breakfast

There is bowling club next to the restaurant and the room was quite noisy until late in the evening.

Very good highway hotel. Easy access, big parking, and pretty nice restaurant. There is also a bowling and video arcade zone inside if you want to entertain yourself. Also I appreciate that although it is just next to highway the soundproofing in the roomi was excellent !

The room furniture was basic and a could be renewed and we had difficulty turning on the Aircon. We slept in a triple room but it actually had 2 single beds and 1 sofa couch, that was not the best sleeping solution.
