This is a perfect resort for a short, chill getaway! The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. There is no pressure to buy timeshares or trinkets on the beach, which is a refreshing change from other places in Mexico. And speaking of the beach, it's amazing! Sand is soft, no seaweed, plenty of places to relax and things to do. The staff are attentive with service, drinks are never ending and made strong, the property is very well maintained, and though the location is quiet, it's close to town and activities. We will definitely be back!

Sadly, the food. Buffet is always fine and snack bar filled in where needed. But for dinner, the options are completely booked or not very good. We ate off-site each night, which can get pricey securing taxis back and forth.

Beautiful location

Facilities could be cleaner. Alcohol selection was disappointing and very cheap brands. What really put a damper on the stay was the lack of sanitation. Bartenders were reusing cups after rinsing them in sinks, not washing them. My wife and I both came home with giardiasis and are extremely sick (I am 5 days removed from coming home and I’m sick as I’m writing this review. The entire staff needs to be thoroughly educated on sanitation and food handling, and guests should really be cautious about it.

Food was good. Especially compared to what we've heard from some of the hotels in Cancun. Lots of activities for kids and very family friendly

Keep in mind the beaches on the North side of the island are nice but not as good as the South side of the island Reservations for their restaurants other than the buffet were hard to obtain

-Fast check in, even we did not have a pre-reservation, thanks to all reseptionists. - Nice beach setting, there are enough beach armchairs with the sun umbrellas Short walk from rooms to the beach -Buffet food, it is not a fine cuisine, rather a level of good home meal, but nothing wrong with it. I like it and there was enought fruits and fresh vegetables each day. Kitchen staff and waitresses were very attentive, please pass big thank you to everyone who works in kitchen for their good job -A dinner and a view in the Mediterranean restaurant

-- a view from the Sea Food restaurant and food there. It used to be a pond nearby, but now it is a semi-dry swamp. The mahi-mahi dish was not too bad, but a lobster was cooked really badly. Either it was frozen for too long or cooked for too long, but it was really rubbery. -sea was a bit dirty and not clear, while if you walk 200 m to the left, behind a pier, you can find a cristal clear water. Not sure if it is always like this there or just has happened during our stay. - the matress in our room was too soft. Ok if you stay alone, if you are with your partner, you will feel each turn of each others during night.

The property is gorgeous. Expansive, quiet, and at the end of the resort strip. Beach is lovely white sand, and nice to swim off. You can see pelicans flying around and bobbing in the shallows. Good snorkeling when it's not too windy, particularly if you walk down the beach to the areas with rocks offshore. The staff are warm, helpful, and polite, and went out of their way to help us celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food at the buffet is excellent - lots of choices, and very high quality. The ala carte restaurants are wonderful as well - don't miss the Mexican restaurant, Mole! The Levels upgrade is worth it, with perfect ocean views, a separate beach area with bali beds, an intimate exclusive bistro for dinner, and butlers who will take care of everything for you. WhatsApp is the easiest way to communicate with resort staff (instead of text/data) for making restaurant or bali bed reservations etc. Remember to bring cash for tips (there's currency exchange on the property, but no ATM). The room was massive, with a very comfortable bed and nice amenities. Housekeeping will customize the mini fridge contents upon request (e.g., we asked for extra water, but didn't need the soft drinks). If you're adult-only, most of the child-oriented activities/pool are self-contained. The nightly entertainment was high quality and worth watching, and we particularly enjoyed the Mexicana show, featuring dance from different regions of the country. The dive shop on site is a little more expensive than some of the nearby non-resort options, but the staff are very good, and were extremely accommodating to my need to postpone several dives for medical reasons. The ferry/downtown is only a 10-min taxi ride away ($8USD or 150 pesos) and worth visiting - it's safe and fun, and good for buying souvenirs. Consider renting a scooter to tour the Island, or rent a car for the day. Driving isn't too stressful, and the scenery is incredible.

The wifi is spotty in some areas of the resort. but it's really not a complaint, just an observation.

The staff here are amazing. Warm, helpful and relaxed. They are friendly & wanted to make sure we were happy. They weren’t trying to get tips (although we tip everywhere and it’s appreciated by them). Just genuinely are kind and helpful staff! Our flight was cancelled by airline first day so we missed a night, the manager greeted us on arrival and sat on the phone with booking.com for me to ensure I wasn’t charged. Most places just say ‘ call the booking agent, sorry’ So I thought his help was awesome! We had a quiet and comfy room, we did upgrade to premium level which honestly isn’t necessary, just some nice little peeks. Make you feel special… but I like the building the family suites are in….if you’re a light sleeper ask for a high up room away from family pool and it’s peaceful. . SomeReviews are going to say things like ‘outdated rooms’. ‘Musty smell’ etc…but people:it’s the jungle. And they are just recovering from 2 yrs lock down. So yes the facilities aren’t like a ‘Four Seasons’ because on a jungle island they’d probably have to charge upwards of 700 a night to maintain that. The air is humid & it ages furnishings quick. But the beds are comfy, the cleaning ladies made our rooms spotless and we felt safe and relaxed. My kids are 12 and LOVED it here. Lots to do but also chill. Kids of all ages seemed to be having fun, making friends and enjoying. It also wasn’t ‘over run’ with kids, just enough for them to meet buds :). Mexican restaurant food my fave. I enjoyed the buffet just fine too, nothing crazy special but lots of options and again good service. . If anything went wrong they made it right! They appreciate respect and a calm approach too, so stay classy and calm if you have a complaint ;) . Nightly shows were great. Love the size of resort cause I like calm & chill. It’s not a party place :).Beach has brown water right now due to season but next door is a sheltered cove with crystal blue water we swam there :)

Nothing!

The beach front location and access to the beach was fabulous. The room view was great, comfortable and of a good size. It was easy to walk around the resort and access the beach from anywhere. The adult pool was well placed away from the family pool so made it more comfortable and quiet if you needed it. The rooms are a little dated but very clean. The shower was spacious and water drained well- no smell from the drain! Staff were very hard working and quick to serve and see to any needs.

Limited food choices. You had to walk to the other side of the resort for the cafe and pool towels. The 'gift' shop prices were very pricey, especially the sun block- so make sure you don't forget yours! Out of the resorts control- the seaweed made swimming difficult.

Beautiful, well kept property. Well maintained beach area. Food was delicious and staff were very friendly. The pool was beautiful and the drinks were delicious. I definitely will be back!

The only thing I would change is have the coffee and ice cream parlor open later.

It's a nice property and beach, we were pleased and it met expectations. The staff was courteous and efficient, and we checked-in quickly. The ambience and vibe was relaxing. We appreciated the plenty of various locations on the resort grounds. You can also walk pretty far down the beach. They gave us a good a room, high up which we preferred and could still hear the sound of the waves with no other disturbances. The water was very clear for the most part and importantly, no sargassum! We do intend to return.

Food was of mixed quality....for example, snacks and at dinner was a bit underwhelming. However, we enjoyed the breakfast (standout was fresh panuchos) which was much better, that somewhat made up for it. I highly encourage the resort to do more fresh Mexican/Yucataneco food specialities, there were a few but its mostly "international fare", which were more mediocre. Also, they could use more chairs on the beach as at times they was limited availability.

The staff was very attentive. They assisted us with all our needs. Checking in / out did not take long at all. The lady who assisted us to make our restaurant reservations was very friendly and nice. The gentleman that takes care of the excrusions was patience and helpful trying to figure out what we can do without 10m old. There are activities conducted daily that were very interactive, such as Zumba, morning stretching, beach games, and pool volleyball within others. The energy that the staff conduct those activities is amazing. The hotel is pretty small, and you are able to get from one building to the other fairly quickly. The family pool is nice and open late hours, which is nice. The beach was nicely set up with chairs made available under the shade. The food is good. A variety of Mexican food was at the buffet, which allowed for different types of eaters to have something to choose from. They serve breakfast/ lunch / dinner. Dinner goes until late around 11pm. The food choose do change from one meal to the next.

The mosquitoes are horrible! My husband, daughter (10m), and I got attacked. There are small black ants on the property.
