The staff was very friendly, polite, and accommodating. The entire staff was amazing. We were very impressed with our entire stay at the hotel. The hotel was modern and our room was comfortable, clean and roomy. We enjoyed the view and the location was good. The restaurant had very delicious food, coffee and drinks. Our servers Brianna and Onet were very pleasant, accommodating and such a pleasure as they were always smiling and took very good care of us. The bartender and cook were also very good at their job and pleasant. Vanessa and the supervisor were very pleasant, helpful, accommodating, and always smiling. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay here again when in Cozumel.

The only thing I could suggest is that the pool be a little heated in the winter months as it was pretty chilly especially in the early morning and evening when there was no sun to warm you up.

Good location, close to the ferry terminal and central area. Comfortable bed, gorgeous shower, huge rooms, smart tv (you can use your own Netflix / Prime account). The staff is very friendly and happy to help. There is a water dispenser in the lobby, you can fill up your bottle. There is also water and a nice coffee maker in the room. I haven't bought water once the entire time I was staying there. The hotel felt like home. Very quiet. Pool is tiny though and only 4 sunbeds.

The only thing that was missing is a hospitality room or a shower that one could use after checking out. I went on a snorkeling tour after checking out and had to change in the bathroom with no AC after, clothes sticking on me like toilet paper on a shoe 😅

The view was spectacular! I stayed in the 3rd floor corner room with the ocean view from nearly the entire side and front walls of the room. The balcony was the most incredible place to watch Cozumel's famously stunning sunsets or have morning coffee.

The only drawback was the street noise; I stayed four nights and a few nights heard some pretty loud base thumping car music from cars parked outside along the malecon especially on the weekend it was incredibly loud through 4am. A white noise machine would be a great addition to the room as well as bathrobes (both included where I am now near a club in Playacar; very helpful!)

Stylish property a short walk away from the central square in Cozumel, and very handy for the ferry (5-10 min walk, so no taxi necessary). Staff were friendly and always helpful with great recommendations for things to do. Room was comfortable with good amenities and with a lovely view over the ocean.

Would have been nice to have a smoking area - or allow smoking on private balconies but appreciate they want it to be a non-smoking place.

Very comfy stay in a relatively new hotel in the heart of Cozumel. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. Cleaning staff did an excellent job - we made sure to leave them a good tip. First floor restaurant staff were very nice and the food was very good. We would definitely try to stay here again if or when we return to Cozumel!

Wifi is spotty, but they can't help that.

Everything was great! The rooms were clean and the view was gorgeous. Watched the sunset go down it was amazing. The food was delicious and well priced compared to the surrounding areas but even those weren't bad at all. The staff were great very attentive. It's very close to ultramar ferry 4 blocks away no more than a 7-10 walk.

Everything was fine. Check out Chen Rio beach no entry charge, calm waters because of the reef barrier. there's a restaurant there to with seating by the beach.

Lovely Hotel! Very nice well maintained modern and clean. The rooms are modern, spacious and comfortable. Wonderful friendly staff!! Great location and view of the beautiful Caribbean Sea.

Cons: The pool is actually tiny, and only about 4-6 lounge chairs. We felt catfished hahahah - but ultimately enjoyed it a bit. Secondly, the hotel staff chooses to start playing very loud children’s music at the pool area from 8am!!! This is just absolutely ridiculous, as ours and many of our friends rooms were pool facing and kept being woken by the most annoying music early while on vacation. How does that make sense? It’s not a kiddie hotel; and there weren’t any kids around for them to entertain. I did speak up to express how disruptive this is early morning to vacationers in Cozumel, and they lowered the volume. Next day it repeated. Unfortunately that caused me to lower my review rating, but this hotel was wonderful and I’d recommend it wholeheartedly.

It's a newer hotel with all the latest features and it's in a great location near the cruise ship docks. The rooms were clean and the bed was super comfy. The views of the ocean are great. Staff went above and beyond! I was in Cozumel for a wedding on Isla Pasion and the front desk girls got me a scooter and jeep rental, both were delivered to me with ease. As a woman traveling solo I never felt the least bit uncomfortable, I felt I was completely safe walking freely like I lived there. Snack bar is very nice with the infinity pool right there. The restaurant next door is amazing. The only thing missing is an ice machine. Oh and did I mention the staff was fantastic!! I Definitely recommend Puerto Libre for family or solo travelers!!

No ice machine. I understand the tap water isn't good in Cozumel. And not everyone can have a filtration system for an ice machine.

The property is pristine, and an excellent location from el centro. The rooms are clean and the a/c works great. Bathrooms and showers are also fantastic. Housekeepers do a great job! The food at the restaurant is also good.

The price point went up over 50% from the first time we stayed there in November. The washing machines are ran in the morning, and are so loud, it sounded like construction was going on, so it was difficult to sleep in the morning without ear plugs. One day I had to wait an hour and a half to get juice and coffee by the pool that I had to order three times, but the girl kept forgetting to write it down. Food prices are fairly high, considering the higher price point.

The hotel is located at the end of the waterfront tourist area - so you can walk to the main plaza with lots of shopping and restaurants without any of the crowds or noise bothering you when in the room. Lovely sea views, very comfortable rooms and beds, all modern amenities. The hotel architecture itself is lovely - very airy and open. They had garage parking for our rental car. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast cafe has great food with ocean views and great waitstaff as well. Overall, we loved our stay here and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The only minor gripe would be that the temperature control on the shower faucet was a bit finicky - water temp tended to fluctuate toward the cold and fine control seemed tricky
