Second time staying here and I’ll keep coming back. It’s location is perfect, hostel is comfortable and well priced. Staff is super nice and hospitable, can’t complain.

A/C is turned at 24C and the beds have no ventilation besides the privacy curtain so it can get hot in the middle of the night. Maybe lower it to 20-22C?

The place is nice for what you pay, the kitchen is good and the rooms are ok too. Showers are great with hot water 😊

Some stuff members could be more friendly and hospitable. The other issue is about Cozumel in general: The hostel is in the center of the town but there are not really good beaches around, only small rocky ones. The good beaches are around 15-20 min away by taxi so do your own thinking.

I would definetely return here. The location is convenient and the bed with its privacy shade was spacious and comfortable. You can lock your things underneath. They have a kitchen and courtyard inside. Everything was clean and the staff were friendly. Check in was easy. It exceeds expectations for a hostel. They also have four bed dorms with bunk beds, so there is a difference if you want the privacy shade.

The staff were all very kind and interactive. I felt comfortable leaving my stuff there unattended and sleeping despite being a solo female traveler. I had to go to the pharmacy in the morning and they were kind enough to allow me to leave my stuff there, at no extra charge, past when checkout was so I could go get what I needed. Check-in and check-out were easy, and I had a locking drawer I was able to use for my more valuable items. It was my first time staying at a hostel, and it was quite beautiful and fun! It had a great view of the water from just outside the building, and was only a few minutes walk from grocery stores and the Cozumel main plaza (full of restaurants, shopping, etc.)

There's nothing in particular I didn't like that isn't just nitpicky. I had a hard time finding the light switches and went to the bathroom in the dark the first couple of times. There was a lot of construction going on when I was staying there, and I often felt bad for using some facilities while there were people trying to work on them, but that's no fault of theirs. The workers were all courteous. Would definitely recommend!

Friendly and helpful staff couldn't do enough. Lovely hot shower. Nice private pods with plenty of room for bags and lockers too. WiFi throughout. Good location for town and ferry.

A few toilets out of service if it had been busier it might have been annoying

Nice clean and spacious. Had a queen bed. Plenty of privacy with the roll up curtain. Location is cool, right on the sea wall and close to the center(about 10 min walk) stuff is friendly and happy to accommodate.

The workers are always so friendly. I’ve stayed here each year for the last 3 years. I really like how it’s a hostel that provides privacy. You aren’t stuck staring at other people in your cubicle. The A/C at night is wonderful.

The fridge is a little too small. Maybe not everyone utilizes it when they travel but it might be better to get a larger fridge.

Biggggg beds and sleep space and also a curtain. The location is…..perfect. Cheap scooters for rent at the front desk…about $15 dollars or 350 pesos per day. Great for meeting other travelers. I met a travel partner there and we traveled Mexico together <3 Great showers, great kitchen and outdoor space.

One of the staff was a little particular about us hanging out in the social area (which is completely separate from the sleeping area). They tend to want to abide by the 11pn curfew. However, he let us stay but closed the door and told us to not be too loud. For a hostel, it could be a tad cheaper, but it’s a tropical island so I get it. Cozumel is cheaper then all other islands along the Yucatán so still fairly reasonable.

I had a fabulous day! The staff was absolutely great. Couldn't have been more helpful.

What I didn't like was the weather LOL first week was hot as heck in the weeks to follow by rain. But it was the rainy.

The owner was extremely nice, she even went around to let us know that a rain is coming and we should get the drying clothes inside. The location is perfect and the bed was comfy compared to a hostel.
