The staff at Hotel Cozumel are amazing! Everyone from the front staff to the cleaning people to the kitchen help are so friendly & helpful. The breakfasts are delicious & filling. They bring juice or coffee, fruit, a basket with breads/ pastries, and then you order off a small menu. We did not use the rooftop pool this time but have in the past and it is great. The rooms are all 2 double beds. They can't be put together as they have cement bases, but they are firm & comfortable. That is the only thing we wish was different. That they would have queen or king rooms. The location is excellent. Walking to restaurants & shopping.

All the staff were helpful and so kind. The room was very comfortable and the whole hotel was very clean. The breakfasts offered a number of options of Mexican and American style food, so it didn't get boring and the food was very tasty. The location couldn't be better. Near shops, restaurants and a public beach with a small pool on the roof.

Rooftop pool to myself had long opening hours , helpful reception staff , room,.comfortable bed. Next door bakery. Proximity to ferry , easy to get a taxi to anywhere on the Island.Main square nearby

Didn't accept card as payment and had to buy water for room after first day. Could be a bit noisy at night because of local music in the square and nearby

We had previously stayed here 3 years ago & I can truly say it has only gotten better! They have added refrigerators to the rooms, which was really a plus for us! The "included" breakfast is still just as tasty & filling as before. Great location, friendly staff, very clean, large pool, nice pool furniture. We will definitely stay again!

Our favorite parts of the hotel were the staff, the closeness to everything, comfortable and clean, rooftop pool and the homemade breakfast was the best ever 🎉😍

If I had to say anything …. It would be that it could use a bit of a Renovation…. It was a bit dated, there were no face clothes, bathroom products were limited but nothing major

Great location close to bars, restaurants, ferry, tour stands, diving shops, taco spots, massage spots. Great price point, convenient breakfast

Potential for some noise from a karaoke and some other place nearby that are open late. I like it quiet when I sleep, so I definitely noticed the noise from a couple of places nearby. However, it turned out not to be a big concern after all, since we stayed up late anyway after coming back from walks, bars and dinners. I'd stay here again.

Excellent location, clean rooms. Maybe not the newest structure, but perfect for a couple of days to enjoy this wonderful island :)

The curtains weren’t light blocking

Although the hotel is old, it was very clean and freshly painted. There is a pool on the roof. It is very convenient to the cute town of San Miguel. Many restaurants nearby. Pleasant neighborhoods to walk in. The cooling system worked well. Day tours will pick you up here, and taxis are always nearby. The price was very reasonable.

The bathroom fixtures are really OLD. It is not possible to walk to any beach.

The whole hotel is very central and has great views of the sea. The breakfast is always made to order and then food is always very good with very friendly waiters and waitress. Let's not forget the cleaning team who do a great job in keeping the hotel clean. This was our third visit and we would go every month if we could.

The hotel has a fantastic breakfast in which you sit on a patio facing the street. The hotel was very clean and conveniently located. If you like live music, restaurants, shopping, and access to the ferry it is awesome. We would definitely return for another visit. The hotel is older and some maintenance issues but so what. For the price the value is great. The maids are outstanding. Make sure you tip them well, they are more than happy to help you and make your stay a great one.

There was nothing I did not like. They were having trouble with the elevator and we had to carry some heavy bags down the steps. The hotel could use some updating. Need more channels on the t.v. Bathrooms could be updated.
