The owner was super friendly. He made sure we had everything we needed. The location is in the old medieval town, but still close enough to shops and the city center. There were some restaurants within walking distance. Everything in the apartment was very clean, there were toys in the kids room. We did not use the kitchen, but it looked there were enough kitchen supplies to cook.

It was not a big problem for us, but I did not realize I booked the top floor which had sloped ceilings in the bedrooms. Since it was just in the bedrooms, it was not an issue. But I did bump my head a few times in the beginning when I was not paying attention.

Eric & Albane are fabulous hosts! The apartment is cozy & comfortable. The village of Conclaves is special with several shops and restaurants. Our favorite shop is the cheese & local products shop just across the street (photo with the nice owners). The walk into Albertville is lovely. Beautiful breakfast! Free parking not too far away. Incredible private garden with amazing views & a picnic table that we thoroughly enjoyed! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Absolutely nothing!

Decently priced beautiful and recently renovated room in a medieval part of Conflans. Eric and Albene are very helpful and kind. Breakfast was served as we agreed, and also possibility to use fridge and other equipment in the common kitchen. Great free of charge parking place in the lower area approx. 70 stairs to be climbed, 50m from the hotel. Possibility drop-off all equipment right at the door. Thank you Eric and Albene!

We are fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay at Au Cheval Blanc. The apartments are beautifully located in the medieval town on the edge of the modern development. The apartments are stylish, modern, and cozy. The apartments are also clean and well-maintained. The area is fantastic and exudes history and charm, making it worth a visit in itself. The host, Eric, is incredibly helpful and charming. We received many great tips on choosing the ski area in Les 3 Vallées, which we visited. The ski resort is only a 40-minute drive away. We highly recommend a stay with Eric and his family.

Absolutely fantastic location. Very tasteful and stylish decor in the apartment. Great to have the garage for secure storage of bicycles. Good communication with the hosts before and during our stay.

The bathroom doesn't have a window or ventilation and it was very hot during our stay.

Chevalier Blanc is in a great location to explore savoir region. We had several fantastic days exploring the area spending time in a nearby Plage Base des gliéres, lac Annecy, Bourg St Maurice etc. Historically fascinating building, good facilities and lovely host.

The location is incredible. The rooms of the Savoie suite are well decorated and fit the medieval city. The upstairs suite was more modern. It was very nice, nice in the savoir, sweet in many ways, but the modern decor didn’t make me feel like I was staying in a medieval village.

The top floor bedrooms, especially the loft, was very hot. There was only one fan in the suite and we had two very hot nights, one with absolutely no wind so the room did not cool down at all, and sleep was impossible in that room. The owner was out of town and did provide a second fan when they returned, which help significantly for the our third and fourth nights there. The owners are very nice and I would absolutely stay here again. I don’t want this negative comment to make anyone think this is not a great place to stay. We just happen to be there during a heat wave where there was no wind one night. When there’s a breeze, the rooms cool off quickly after sundown.

What a discovery! Travel in time to this gem of location - and you end up into a medieval village. The apartment is well appointed, spotless clean comfortable and full of character. The host communication was proactive and clear and the breakfast was delicious. Fully recommended!

We loved the unique experience of staying in a medieval city on a hill! The spiral staircase and short doors felt authentic to the period. everything was clean and worked well, and the owners were very nice and welcoming. The croissants, bread, cheese , yogurt and coffee or tea provided were a delicious and wonderful start to each day.

We enjoyed this hotel but you need to be able to climb stairs. No elevators here. We appreciated the exercise!

Unique very old property, beautifully and sympathetically restored . Very comfortable , well functioning shower. Stunning view of high Alps from main bedroom window . Good shared kitchen adjacent to rooms . Lovely breakfast .
