The property was excellent, but you have to start the review with Lake Annecy itself. Everyone knows about Lake Como, but (we found) even Europeans don’t know about Lake Annecy, which might be even prettier than Como. We loved our stay. Chalet Christine was a lovely facility, which I would highly recommend. The staff was delightful. The breakfast was good. Also, I must include that the area, called Talloires, is THE AREA TO STAY ON LAKE ANNECY.

The only possible negative is actually a question: lakeside or not? Christine is on the hillside with a very easy walk to the lake and with a beautiful view of the lake. If you want lakeside, that is a property negative. If a great view, with a very short and easy walk to the lake is fine, then Chalet Christine is a great place to stay. We would stay again

We wanted to stay near Annecy but wanted a more relaxed feel - Talloires is the perfect town and Chalet Christine is the perfect accommodation. It was only a short walk from some super restaurants and the lake. We received a very warm welcome, the room was well equipped, comfortable and beautiful, the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful (the lady who cooked the breakfasts was very friendly) and the view was lovely. We don’t normally use spa facilities as they can be quite intimidating but, at Chalet Christine, there was such a relaxed feel that we used the spa every day (mostly we had it all to ourselves).

Nothing - it was perfect.

The location of this property is wonderful, absolutely amazing views over the lake, the rooms were very spacious and comfortable and our room had a lovely garden area with table chairs and loungers. The lady who checked us in was very very helpful, she gave us beach towels and lots of information on the local area.

We loved everything however our 15yr old would have loved a little more choice on the cereal front and a latte instead of filter coffee would have been superb!

Chalet Christine comes with my highest recommendation. The views are stunning. The rooms are warm, comfortable and beautifully designed each one looking over the lake. Such a lucky find on booking.com I stopped on the way up to the mountains and then again on the way home It’s a total gem The staff were so lovely and all spoke great English. The breakfast was one of the best ever Thankyou Chalet Christine

Everything was great

We loved the stunning views of Lake Annecy and that we were away from the larger towns. The room had a spectacular view. The breakfast was great (again with a view) and the staff made sure everything was fresh. The spa and indoor pool was very relaxing as were the outdoor sunbeds. Eva helped us book restaurants and showed us around the chalet. She was a wealth of knowledge. We really didn’t want to leave when it was time.

Maybe the shower could be placed on the wall rather than be hand held.

Sitting room/reception room where customers have breakfast have great views. Easy to reach. Amenities comfortable. About 20 minutes to Annecy old town And 3 minutes to Talloires which is equally scenic to Annecy but far more tranquil.

Chalet Christine is all about the view overlooking Lake Annecy. It is simply stunning - even in the rain! Delightful staff, good breakfast & safe off-road parking. It's also a ten minute stroll into Talloires where there are first class restaurants.

Water in the bathroom could be hotter.

Lovely chalet style building but updated in a very sympathetic way. Good facilities - garden, pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna. Parking outside the hotel. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Lovely balcony with great views of Lake Annecy. There is no dining facility but you can order a great charcuterie and cheese platter with wine to eat on the terrace, in the lounge or on your own balcony

the location was superb. Quiet yet not far from amenities.Close to scenic spots. Breakfast could do with few more hot options. WE were looked after by Elodie a most charming warm person, always ready to help us with suggestions and a ready smile.

A fabulous view of the Lake. The chalet is contemporary with nice pieces of antique furniture eg the child’s cradle housing the spa towels. Only 5 rooms. Feels like being in your own home. The host was attentive producing an amazing spread for breakfast.
