Central location allows walking everywhere, including from/to station. Rooms are furnished in a warm and contemporary style. Safe box and small refrigerator were useful. Lots of bath towels, comfortable bed and efficient wifi. Convenient access both by lift and stairs directly from street to bedroom floor.

Not hotel's fault but it was noisy late at night with lots of shouting, even till 3 am. Didn't expect this at the end of October during off season. Although streets are pedestrianised there are deliveries and rubbish collection very early in the mornng and even with window closed it woke us up. TV channels don't include sports (eg. not able to view PSG vs AC Milan).

We loved our room, it had a little balcony over the canal. The location was perfect! The room itself was small but nicely furnished with everything we needed. It was comfortable and surprisingly quiet inside considering how central the location is.

We got there about 10 minutes before the official check in time and the lady on the desk was happy to store our bags but said to come back in half an hour. I mentioned that I thought the check in time was 3pm and she just told me that there are lots of rooms to clean. This wasn’t a massive problem but I found her tone dismissive and she didn’t apologise at all for the delay. When we returned there was another lady at the desk who was much friendlier and made us feel welcome. The only other negative thing was that the bathroom has some mould staining and the vanity was water damage as there is no shower screen.

The hotel is in the centre of Annecy, close to the lake and many restaurants and cafés. There are a lot of interesting small alleys to wander along and explore, and the views of the mountains across the lake are quite stunning. The room was nice, everything worked, and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

It's no fault of the hotel, but if you are driving a car, then the network of one-way systems, bus only lanes, bus only streets, and pedestrian ways is a nightmare when you aren't familiar with them. Best to set your navigator to take you directly to the underground car park nearby at the Hôtel de Ville, then walk the 100 m or so to the hotel. The hotel offers a discount for this car park.

Location is perfect if you have a limited amount of time visiting Annecy center. The free parking is actually in a collective parking nearby. And hotel offers you a voucher to get free parking until 8am the day of check out. It is quite useful.

The double bed is a bit small for two people. But the bed is quite comfortable. The hotel is quite popular, so make sure you leave enough time to check out if you are in a rush. Don't mistake the place for Palais de Ils which is a visiting museum towel. I went there for hotel check in and experienced a very strange conversation... And the people couldn't tell me where exactly is hotel entrance. Other than that all good.

The location and charm of this hotel is superb. We were initially disappointed we weren't getting a view of the canal with our premium room, but actually the view we DID have of the castle and the old town was delightful. The hotel is exactly where you want to be, within mere steps of the cobbled streets, restaurants, bars, market, canal, lake, castle - everything! Parking at the Hotel de Ville was only 5 minutes walk and you get a generous discount being a guest of this hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean and quite quirky being in the roof trusses - only a little bit of stooping required in the shower!

To take a shower in our room on the top floor meant having to sit in the tub and use a shower attachment. Not a major issue but not ideal either. We stayed over the weekend and the downside to being close to the bars and restaurants became apparent at around 2am on Sunday morning. I wouldn't imagine it's as rowdy as that during the week but it did keep us awake for a couple of hours.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, offering beautiful views and easy access to all the attractions in the area. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I appreciated the cozy ambiance, which made it feel like a home away from home. The host was also very friendly and responsive, ensuring that I had everything I needed. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting!

While I enjoyed my stay, there is one thing that could be improved. Like, in the pictures when I booked the room, it said with view to the lake, however my room wasnt exactly facing the lake, it was by side. Maybe, showing the exact view of the selected room is preferable. Overall, this is minor, but addressing them would make the stay even better. Thank you!

What a gem of a hotel. We visited for the Christmas Markets and we had the perfect location and the most breathtaking view. Our suite was the Emperor suite and it had 2 amazing views and a lovey balcony to enjoy our chaud vin overlooking the magic of the markets and the lake and mountains. The room is huge and we had a great bathtub to enjoy. The bed was very comfortable and the room extremely quiet .. amazing given the location. The double glazing is perfect. Dinner at Corza was phenomenal and so well priced. A beautiful village and a great hotel.

The location is very central in Annecy Old Town. Beautiful views of the river and loads of places to eat and drink within metres. We were on the 3rd floor and couldn’t hear the street below at all. We were out in the evening for dinner so might have been busier/noisier then but we also slept in late and weren’t woken up by noise in the morning despite the street being bustling when we got out. Decor really nice, air con good, a bit noisy but perfect for white-noise people! Really reasonably priced for the location and quality of the room. Absolutely loved it and will def visit again.

We had an excellent time in Annecy and the hotel's location is a huge + if you're looking to stay downtown. You can walk to the main attractions and the hotel is surrounded by A LOT of restaurants and ice cream shops. The rooms are comfortable. I was a bit worried by the noise at first when I saw that the main door is right by a lot of restaurants but it turns out that it is very quiet (our room was on the 5th floor though). Check-in and check-out was smooth and the staff very nice. Also, I used the Parking they recommended and was able to get a discounted price.

I would say that my only "con" is the price, I do find it a bit overrated for a 3 star hotel but I guess it's the price of being downtown.

You cant get any closer to the centre, clean quite and warm, breakfast is good, a larger hotel than it looks, staff were warm and welcoming, easy to find waking down a very steep hill, as you drive up you will see a underground car park, park in their and the hotel will give you a discount card when you exit, very easy and cheap. walk down the hill and it is easy to find take the lift to the 1st floor and the reception is there; drop your bags off and explore.

hotel is looking a bit tired but good value and the staff and beds are comfortable
