From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The owner was incredibly kind, and the staff were all very friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. The room and bathroom were spotless, with daily housekeeping to keep everything fresh. The pool was fantastic, and the kids absolutely loved it. The location is beautiful—perfect for disconnecting from city life for a while. Morning hikes in the surrounding area are a wonderful bonus. We truly enjoyed our stay and would be delighted to return. Highly recommended!

Had a very enjoyable 2 night stay. The owner offered a very warm welcome. The room was nice with comfortable bed, hair dryer & kettle (with tea & coffee) available in the room. Pool & outside terrace area looked very nice but we had rain so could use them. Lovely continental breakfast & drinks available on an honesty basis. There is also the use of a microwave if you wish to bring in your own food. Great location for exploring the Sierra Nevada & Granada area. Very pretty local village with several lovely traditional Spanish restaurants to choose from.

Very kind landlady, calm and relaxing environment of the finca, we appreciated much the pool in the garden, beautiful balcony next to our room, sufficient parking options on the property, and the finca is in a reachable distance from Granada.

Very little space in the rooms to organize our stuff and to open our suitcases, no options to hang or store sth, only a very tiny table which was not apt for working. Also, the breakfast room where we were allowed to eat sth did not offer the possibility to cook or prepare food properly (e.g. no sink available). This would have been quite important for us though, given that the finca was in a rural area without many food options or even proper supermarkets. Every time I plugged in sth in the power outlet besides my bed we had an electrical short circuit (no more energy until we switched the button again).

The whole experience was a delight. The host Imma was so pleasant and helpful. S made us feel like she was welcoming us into her home. The Hotel is tastefully decorated in a rustic style with reference to their love of horses throughout the building. Everywhere was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. Location was ideal for a trip up to the top of the Sierra Nevada and a 5 minute drive down to Penos Genil with its lovely town centre and bars along the river. I would recommend the Hotel for anyone who likes rural accommodation with beautiful views with easy access to the Sierra and Granada

Honestly, I couldn't find any fault with the hotel, its amenities and the service. A great location for a general look around the surrounding area

This hotel is an idyllic rustic property high in the mountains. It provides stunning views of the Sierra Nevada, with that typical clean mountain air. The owners are especially nice as with all the family. The access was simple as well as when we left. The buffet breakfast had everything anyone could want. There is no restaurant but we were allowed to bring our own food into the dinning area in the evening and use the facilities. It was extremely quiet and at night there is limited light pollution. Overall, a wonderful stay in Hotel Finca Aldabra.

Amazing welcome when we arrived, Inma, the owner made us feel at home straight away. Very helpful and lots of local information. The room was great, very comfortable with everything we could possibly want, including the most fabulous view of sunsets over the mountains. Breakfast was a fantastic spread laid out as a buffet, catering for every possible taste. Inma and her staff were the perfect hosts. We really enjoyed our holiday there.

Absolutely nothing, everything was perfect.

I had a very warm welcome by the owner Inma and her mom (and 2 dogs) even though I was a little early for check-in. They were shocked and concerned that I had walked up the steep mountain with my luggage (about 2 km from the bus stop) which had been quite an expericence. So it will be better if you come by car. They provide a breakfast buffet that I was offered for free as I was travelling alone. There is also an honesty bar and a fridge with some salads and microwave meals in case you can't or don't want to go down to the village for dinner. As I was travelling on foot, this came very handy on the first day. But you can also bring your own food and put it in the microwave and eat in the breakfast room. Inma even took me down to the bus stop in her car after I had checked out which I was really grateful for.

Also popular with cyclists that can be. Well run rural hotel with experienced friendly and helpful management. The location was perfect to explore the area of Pinos Genil, Monachil, Güéjar Sierra etc. where there are many walks and villages to explore. Very easy drive to the Alhambra which is about 10km away).This hotel also accommodates cyclists. Our bedroom was very large with a comfortable bed. Our bedroom was east facing so cool in the afternoon. Great aircon. West facing rooms have a balcony which would provide some shade (overhang). The pool was awesome with some shade and sun loungers/beds to relax on. Sensible rules are in place to make the stay good for all customers. Lovely lounge area for guests to sit and read a book and also a pool table. The breakfast room and outdoor eating area is available for guests to enjoy the own meals. Essential crockery and cutlery is available for use throughout the day. There is a microwave. No cooking equipment. Each bedroom conveniently has a bar fridge where food /drinks can be kept for personal use to enjoy in the communal dining area. All dirty dishes are put on a trolley and collected and washed by a wonderful lady (aka the fairy). Some drinks are available for guests on an honesty basis. Breakfast at a very reasonable charge is available to guests (no need to book). I will definitely stay here again if in the area.

A place just for an overnight stay, away from the noise of Granada. In the morning, it’s very convenient for visiting the Alhambra. In the evening, there’s a beautiful sunset view from the balcony.

We didn't swim in mid-May, but the pool seemed neglected. The courtyard and garden also didn’t look very appealing... Breakfast was disappointing.

It was a rural stay, on an olive plantation. It was easy to access Granada by bus from here (we didn’t want to drive). Our hostess was FABULOUS. The breakfast was good. There was a pool. I could have a load of washing done (for only 6€).

There was nothing to complain about.
