The location was nice, we had parking spots in the courtyard. It was clean.

The problem it's that the bathroom's window was old and it was pretty cold in the bathroom, there was no shower gel (it's not that expensive) and only 2 big towels for 2 people (universal towel I suppose). The kitchen wasn't well equipped, not even sugar or tea. The kettle was dirty and old, we didn't have the courage to use it.

Really nice staff, comfy bed, kitchen facilities available. I'd definitely stay here again. Nice quiet location and some local facilities like a grocery store. Some restaurants nearby but mostly shut when I was there..... not high season.

Not really a dislike but there was little space around the bed, it was fine for me but it might be a little bit tight for two people. It's a bit away from Siofok centre, again really fine for me but just to be aware of.

The owner was very considerate and very kind, he arranged with us so that we can check-in very late (after midnight). Decent room, with decent beds, god value for money. We parked the car in the yard of the property.

The address of the property is actually on other street that the one indicated, it is on a adjacency street, it was a little bit complicated to find the exact location (but it was also night ... ).

Nice, spacious room with a very comfortable bed. There is also a large kitchen (on another floor) available for guests, which is very convenient. The room was very quiet, which is important to me.

Everything was ok. The property is not new but everything is comfortable and clean.

Close to the lake. Nice, well-kept room and bathroom, comfortable bed (on the softer side). Close to plenty of restaurants. Parking is good, although fits only a limited number of cars. I also liked sleeping to the sound of the small pond in the garden, gives it a sort of zen-like vibe. Also has a clean, well-equipped kitchen.

Parts of the garden and the parking lot is covered with gravel, which can get noisy at night if many people are moving around, which happens in the summer. Lock on the door should be fixed - it was a bit tricky to get it to open and close. Fridge smelled funny.

Easy check in and check out process, good location and nice room (though our room was not a 'city view' as listed). Tobi was very prompt and helpful when replying to enquiries, it made planning our days easier.

No hot water for the shower on the first night but this did get fixed the next day.

Joy Guethouse is quiet and friendly place. Definitely, it is best choice for price/quality. There's a Sparr supermarket near, it opens quiet early, so I could buy some foods and goods to continue my journey. Many thanks to host for meeting me; I've been late, and he checked me in without problems.

No issues.

We could check-in late (around 23 o'clock[) without any problems. We had private parking. We only stayed a few hours to have a sleep before continuing our journey, so there is not much to tell. We also got a bigger room than the one we booked.

The shower curtain was hard to use, all water went outside in the bathroom and there was nothing to clean it up with. Also the water did not went towards the sewer, it stayed on the floor.

We stayed at Joy for one night on transit between Slovenia and Slovakia. We had our 10-month-old with us and had no issues with fitting her and her travel cot in the room, alongside all of our luggage. We had an overall good sleep (their mattresses are of good quality), appreciated the mosquito nets, could watch Netflix with no connection issues, made use of the shared kitchen and were pleasantly surprised that despite being so close to the actual lake and multiple restaurants, the neighbourhood was quiet.

Honestly, it would've been nice if the man who checked us in had asked us if we had any questions about the property or the neighbourhood, or had need of anything else, other than just checking us in quickly, wishing us a pleasant stay and then disappearing. Also, the shower curtain needs to be wider (we had to very carefully shower so as to not flood the bathroom) and cleanliness and the general things on the floor of the room need to be dealt with - there were many cobwebs, amongst a few other issues, so we therefore didn't feel comfortable allowing our daughter to crawl over the floor.

The room was small, but very nice, clean and cosy (bed especially) and the host was really kind. The property is few minutes of walking away from the “free” beach. Walking to the Siófok center from the property, you can enjoy either Balaton lake or many beautiful houses in the streets around.

I can’t say there is anything I didn’t like.
