The breakfast is really great... fresh and good products, diversity, served in time... Impeccable cleanliness. Great value for money.

This is absolutely not specific to Babi Guesthouse. So it's important not to take it into account but... Hungarian mattresses are just a disaster everywhere. I've done dozens and dozens hotels, flats and guesthouses in Hungary for the past 20 years and it's everywhere the same. It seems that for hungarians people, the harder, the better. When you compare to Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, Germany or Tchek Pepublic, you don't really understand...so it can be painful when you have back problem. A small memory foam mattress is quite cheap today and its can change everything!

Although this was a little way out of the centre of the town, it was an easy walk to both the lake shore and the railway station. Check-in was straightforward, and the host was very helpful, with maps and advice on places to visit. The room and bed were very comfortable. There was a shared kitchen but, as I was the only guest, I had it all to myself. This made an excellent base for exploring the area.

The room was quite spacious, clean and well equipped, right next to the big shared kitchen. The beds were comfortable, and the layout of the room was very practical, with a beautiful bathroom. The host was very kind and flexible, we checked in at a late date, and he was available at immediate notice. The location was also great, with free parking in the garden, and a 20 minute walk/ 5 min drive to Balaton.

- The location is convenient. 5 min drive to the Balatonfured center. - There is a closed yard parking - The room is clean and spacious - The host is welcoming and easy to communicate - There is a common kitchen with enough amenities. You can bring your take away food and eat it in this kitchen comfortably.

- Shower in the bathroom stays in the dark a bit, and the drainage of the shower was not well enough. But it is not a big deal.

We were in town for UltraBalaton Trail, and happily returned to Babi Guesthouse. Babi is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, so perfect for a good night of sleep before a race. Babi offers free off-street parking, and there's a big common kitchen with all the needed utensils. The lake is 15 minutes walk away, and there are some nice restaurants and bars close by. We loved our stay at Babi, and we'll be back :)

Amazing stay as beautiful property, room was spacious and included an ensuite bathroom and fridge. Property also has free parking and a kitchen with full kitchen facilities. Very easy walking down to the lake and restaurants.

Need to walk a distance to the train and bus station, it is ok for us about 10-15 mins

Location is great, just 20 minutes from the beach or port from which you can travel by ship to other places like Siofok or Tihany. The place is quiet, breakfast is good.

Wonderful area, peaceful treasure town next to the lake Balaton. Clean, quiet house, everything seams like, it would be brand new. There is a big kitchen downstairs including everything that would be needed. Perfect place for a nice holiday.

We got family room with most comfy bunk beds for our kids. Very cosy yard. Room comfy and also nice little balcony.
