The staff was super nice 10/10. The breakfast was truly great freshly made pancakes and eggs, prosecco. I liked the nice touch of a Tihany lavender soap in the bathroom. Ice skating ring was super close and there is a great burger place right next to the hotel. The room was warm and we had AC to make it even warmer which is needed in these cold winter days.

Beautiful property. Excellent breakfast, and the staff were really friendly and helpful! Location was fantastic and the area was just beautiful. When we arrived it was so relaxing! Room was fine - bathroom had great power in the shower. The minibar was a nice tough also, and the little toiletries in the bathroom. The place also smelt really nice. Oh and breakfast was really good! Lots of food to choose from (fruits, salad, cereals, yogurt, sweet breads, cold meats, avocado, hummus… and also cooked breakfast options: omelettes, eggs, bacon etc). Prosecco at breakfast was also a nice touch

Pool was unclean on day 3 of our stay - lots of flies and bugs in it, but I understand this can happen. Dropped something under the bed and the dust and dirt under there was unreal - could really do with a clean. A kettle in the room would have been good - there were cups and plates but only a microwave and no knives or forks either, only spoons. The bed was comfortable but it was two singles pushed together, so the beds kept moving apart - not great for a couple.

Location is great , near lake Balaton and all the main restaurants in Balatonfured . Staff are very welcoming and friendly , hotel extremely clean . Breakfast was DELICIOUS , all fresh and tasty and food from the menu was unlimited.

The Wifi didn't always work in the room and it is not available around the pool . Coffee at breakfast comes from an automatic machine and not very tasty but you can order real coffee from the reception too .

The hotel is placed quite close from the lake shore. Very nice, smiling and supportive English-speaking staff, both front-desk and restaurant. The outside pool it's quite refreshing and the Finnish sauna is hot and nice. The breakfast is pleasantly good, above expectations. I absolutely recommend reserving a parking place in advance, especially during rush hours, because the available place is quite limited. You will find your name on a black board, in front of your designated parking place, giving you a nice feeling. We had an attic floor room and the way they combined the glass, and the old wooden beams is quite nice. The air conditioner is a plus, especially in a hot summer day. At the end of the hallway, we found an open terrace with a nice lake-view, also a proper retreat for the smokers.

The entrance is a little bit confusing, it has a main entrance, pedestrian only and a rear back entrance, for the cars. The outside pool needs an underwater robot cleaner, there are many fallen tree leaves on the bottom. The steam sauna was not functioning at the time of our visit, and that was disappointing. The parking place can be reserved for an extra fee, is not free, and the price is quite high (approx. 15 euro/car). We had an upper floor room, basically the building attic converted into rooms using plasterboard panels, not much sound-proof so, if you're noisy-type, be aware! The wooden floor creaks at every step, so will would know exactly how many people are crossing on the hallway.

The staff were very helpful! The location was great! Breakfast was excellent! The pool was lovely after a busy day of exploring!

I felt that the hotel was getting a little tired. I noticed some wallpaper coming off the walls. There was no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities in my room. Also, there was no bath mat and none of the bins had bags. I thought this was a little odd. It was like they hadn't finished making my room up. There were plenty of towels and I was only there for one night, so I wasn't too worried and I didn't ask about this.

I like the atention from the personal, very clear at the explanation time and very cordial . Breakfast and personal atention for me were the best of this reservation .

I dont like that the parking was full and was a little bit expensive for no even a hall day. alsoe the beds where not very confortable and the room has not a central heating that was also rare, we have to put on a heater and all the time was like cold the room , we went on winter -3 degrees.

The style of the building, pool, location, free bicycle, excellent breakfast

The roomservice is not professional, thus the room is not really clean. They just make the bed and that is all. One day I had to ask them to make my room and all they did was make my bed and put new towels on bed. All old towels were left and toiletries not arranged. Many of the housekeeping are very young doing summer jobs thus do not really care. The hotel could be cleaner. No safes in rooms. No shower in my room. Tv did not work after I asked about it for a few days. On last night they managed to fix it so some Hungarian channels worked. The wifi does not work in many locations of the hotel and have different wifi for different sections of hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel at an excellent location with great service and breakfast. We have been here several times and happy to come back.

The bathroom is not user-friendly. There is no place to put your soap or shampoo in the shower. There is no proper towel holder. The shower head is fixed at an angle, which splashes water all over the place. There is no floor mat to step on when coming out of the shower, which brings more water all over the place.

Breakfast was good, freshly done when you come and have breakfast. Staff hospitable , variety. Sitting outside was much better then sitting inside. Could renovate the furniture in the kitchen.

Some staff need to speak English, the TV needs to have more English channels. The cupboards under the bed were full of dust when I tried to put my clothes. I cleaned them. They need to thoroughly clean the rooms, under the bed.
