The breakfast spread was amazing - including traditional langos!! We were able to rent bikes right on the property, the bed was very comfortable with plenty of extra pillows. This place is full of charm and detail, we would definitely stay here again. The hotel is also a short, safe walk from the main part of town.

More hooks in the bathroom would be appreciated, and the arrangement of shower head meant that water sprayed all over the corner of the bathroom. The lower beams in the bathroom were also a bit of a hazard for taller people - some padding there could help a ton!

We chose this accommodation as a stopover on a cycling trip around Balaton. Unfortunately we spent here only one night. This accommodation was the best we had on our trip. We were welcomed by kind and helpful staff, whose only goal was our complete satisfaction and comfort. We stayed in a room with a patio, which was spacious and beautifully decorated in an old style. Guests have access to a generously sized swimming pool. We were pleasantly surprised by the rich and tasty breakfast. We are very happy that we chose this accommodation, but sad that we could not spend here more days, maybe next time. I highly recommend everyone to visit this place. I am sure you will not regret it.

Everything was perfect

The location is great - on the quiet and peaceful side of Tihany 5 minutes walk away from life in the village. Place is really great, for me it was like visiting Hobit village :-D. Staff is super friendly and helpful, they also speak superb English and are very responsive to sent mails. Breakfast is held in reception, with so much retro touch - you can almost transport yourself back-in-time.

It doesn't affect my review - the refrigerator is placed in the sleeping areas and with all the silence that surrounds you, there is little noise at night.

We slept for 1 night. Location was perfect and quiet, it had a view to a lake (although it was not Balaton). The room was ok but kind of old looking (I think it is the theme of the entire house). The staff was great, spoke Enghlish very well - they helped us store our bikes overnight and recommended us a good restaurant nearby. The breakfast was ok. There is a selection of wines and beer at additional cost. The pool was clean. Parking was free and kind of secure.

The bathroom and the room were quite small and cramped. The floors were squeaking when guests were walking on the corridors.

The breakfast was amazing with more variety than I’d ever seen. It included homemade jams, areas of breads, hot and cold meats, eggs, yogurt/cereals, juices, cheeses in the historic setting. The food choices were marked for gluten which is very helpful. The staff was friendly, spoke English and was helpful. The building is 200 years old with a thatched roof. The room was very clean. It’s near the lake which is beautiful.

The wooden floors make noise when a roller bag is going down the hall, but it’s a very old building and that’s to be expected.

Loved the authenticity of this 200-year-old hotel. The rooms were spacious and beautifully furnished with antique furniture. Overall a great experience for couple of families. Pool is nice, but there were a lot of bees around the pool so my kids didn't want to use it.

The rooms were really beautiful and the bathrooms were super clean with beautiful tile and new fixtures. The only problem was that there were no curtains on the windows directly across from our beds so we were all woken up at 6 am.

Accommodation in 1800's conditions with 2025 amenities (bathroom, hot water). Tasty breakfast and possibility to dine outside in the garden.

It's not a complaint, it's a suggestion, review the mattresses (it may just be a matter of personal taste), also the fact that we paid for the room with "lake view" but it wasn't so, but it wasn't a problem. Recommendation, if you are looking for lake view accommodation this is not what you need, the location has many other advantages that make it a good option for accommodation.

Great location, a short walk away from Belső-tó, the Lavender House, the town center and many other important places to visit. Walking distance away from multiple restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was abundant with a lot of variety. Room was clean and spacious with air conditioning unit, water kettle, coffee machine and small fridge. Bed big and comfortable. Parking on site for an extra price.

The WiFi was often spotty, but the staff found a solution for that. The room wasn’t that easy to air out, but A/C unit was definitely helpful there.

We loved the breakfast! It was all fresh home made and every breakfast type you could ask for, eggs, meats, cereal, porridge, pancakes, homemade compote, fresh juices. delicious! There was a lovely courtyard to sit in sun and eat breakfast. The room was very comfortable and large enough for two to sleep one in lounge and one in bedroom.

My only wish was that the pool did not close so early and that the area around the pool was cleaned and mowed so you could sit by the pool. It also would be great if you could look out over the lake

Beautiful location in a picturesque corner of the town. Peace and quiet all around. Very safe place, friendly to families with children. Very good and varied breakfasts. Polite and smiling staff. Rooms clean, tastefully arranged. We are returning at the end of the vacation.

Upon entering the room, there was a smell of dampness coming from the bathroom. Forgivable, with overall satisfaction with the facility.
