- Balaland amenities were spectacular and exceeded our expectations (especially have to highlight heated pools) - Breakfast/dinner was really good and each dinner was inspired by a different country - Since we were traveling with a young child, the hotel automatically provided us with a multitude of kids stuff in the room

- the dining options outside of breakfast and dinner were insufficient for us. The Tico restaurant mainly offered pizza and pasta, the snack bar had only one type of sandwich, and the hotel restaurant provided food at a price that did not match the quality. If you are travelling with a kid you would appreciate a better kid options than just nuggets, pizza and pasta, especially for 5* star hotel - the AC in the room was not working. After informing the staff, I found out that it was not an isolated issue. Since we were traveling in July, it was a bit unpleasant - such a detail, but sliding doors for the bathroom and toilet are indeed very cool but totally impractical. I've heard way more than I wanted to.

The hotel is wonderful. Everything is clean, and the food is definitely good. Most importantly, the entire hotel is designed with children in mind. From the small sink for kids to the children's buffet at every meal, complete with plastic cups and plates, and even the elevator buttons located at a low height so children can press them. The whole hotel is tailored for kids, with games everywhere and, of course, the hotel's incredible park, featuring water slides and a huge play area. An amazing and highly recommended experience! Seeing the kids so happy and how everything focuses on them for a change – worth every dollar!

Everything was really nice and well set up—from the entrance gate all the way to the room. Everything is kid-friendly. Our daughter loved the lion-shaped room key card! They even provide bathrobes for the little ones. In the restaurant area, there’s also a special section just for kids. The water park and play area were super fun, even for adults. We visited in April, so the warm pool water was a big plus. The spa for adults was great too.

Everything was perfect.The only downside was a few groups with rude kids, and the parents didn’t really care. They made quite a mess during breakfast and lunch.

This is a children’s paradise! The place was super comfortable and super clean, even the family park- we were happily surprised how clean and fresh they manage to keep that place, despite having children play in it all day. We went in the autumn but it was no problem as the pools and even the water slides were heated. The photos of this hotel don’t even do it justice on how spacious and cool the family park is.

The food for the adults could have been a bit better, especially with regards to vegetarian and vegan options. Also, there are no restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, and we felt the hotel took advantage of that, pricing some items ridiculously high. For example, a small bottle of fruit juice cost us over 4$. There were no water fountains anywhere, and we were charged when we asked to refill our child’s water bottle.

Even though there is a specially designed kids breakfast/dinner bufet table, the food on it didnt change at all... Dissapointed by general cleaning of the hotel, the inside was clean (not spottles but OK) but the outdoor facilities, including kids playground, were neglected to say the least. I get that its a natural environment and there will be spiders and other bugs, but there were spider webs and bug shells that havent been cleaned for ages. Not acceptable for a 5* resort and for the price you pay... Some minor details that should be enhanced for the 5* expereinece, more adult programs etc..

Great place to stay with family and kids. The facilities are great. Food was great and we loved it that every evening it was a different style The team was very helpful with what ever we asked for. The rooms very comfortable. I would defiantly like to come again The massage in the spa was very good

The A.C. was not very strong - but we opened a window and we had a nice wind coming in The price of hiring bicycle was very high to begin with -and we also used it for less than an hour (it was too cold) so it come out as a very expensive 1 hour

Once you past the reception, things get much better. The facilities, restaurants, Waterpark and front of the lake were incredible! Definitely worth a visit or perhaps a longer stay in a very safe place for adults, young and big kids. Great fun for the adults around the premises with kids clubs do help out. The rooms are big enough when travelling with 2 adults and 2 kids. Due to being an environment friendly hotel, it gets tricky on air conditioning but they are happy to provide you with cooler fans. The adults sun area with chairs available at the front of the lake is breathtaking.

I could’ve easily scored 5 stars if it wasn’t for the mishaps from the reception team. Joszef and Richárd definitely need some customer services training to ensure they are capable to handle guess in a 5 star hotel. A rude and unhelpful receptionist is not acceptable for a luxury hotel. Although, I spoke with the Deputy General Manager who was very considerate, really helpful and promised to address the matter. It’s not all bad, Michael and Jah also from the reception team were indeed very helpful to balance it out.

Loved it all. The food , the service , the staff , every one was so nice and it was amazing This is promoted as a hotel for kids and it’s exactly that hotel for kids , but they don’t forget the adults. I had fun , and we loved it so much that we are coming back next year

It’s not the I didn’t like it I was not prepared for the fact that the hotel was about 10% capacity so it was interesting having all the pool for me and the kids :) The slides are not worm enough but it didn’t stop us from enjoying them
