It's an all-inclusive experience. For that you get some decent variety in food and drinks but you can get bored of it after a while. The beach is actually great, have kids section. Also very kids friendly environment so recommended for family vacations.

The suite was advertised as 2 rooms (2 separate air-space) but it was just 1 big room with a half-wall, so no door or separator, which is not what we wanted with small kids. There are a lot of allergy information on the cards in the restaurant which looks amazing at first until you find out it's not accurate and always had to ask the staff about most things and often they seemed annoyed that people ask questions. Also the bad thing about all-inclusive is you get the cheap stuff from most things and you don't have a choice since there isn't any other option.

The place is well run and organized. Breakfast 7-10 lunch 12-14 (snacks next to the lake 12-17) dinner 19-? Drinks all the time. The kids pool was included and our little son (4) really liked it! Get there early to catch a place in the shade. It has a shallow part with slides and a a deeper (smaller) part for older kids. Food was good for price, nothing special, but plenty of everything and well run staff for cleaning and stocking food.

Room was very small (superior), we didn't speak Hungarian so couldn't take advantage the extra activities (there were plenty), elevators were slow, in rush hours can stand for a long while in front of elevators waiting. Room was not really clean, there were left over crumbs on floor, and when we put up the sign to clean up room the maid (which was super quick) didn't change towels but justade the bed very poorly (the linen left the bed at night)

Staff was really nice and helpful. It was the best feature of the hotel. Also, the food was delicious.

I was expecting more from an all inclusive hotel, meaning they were advertising their beach bar with traditional beach food, but then we stayed there for 4 days and we haven't had a chance to eat langos even if we need to pay for it. Also, all the kids toys and activities were charged so that was a bit surprising compared to other all inclusive places. They could also have bigger play area for younger kids (toddlers) with toys , it was really cramped and lackluster.

The hotel is situated direct at the lake with a wonderful privat beach. There are enough sun belts and shadow under big trees. The view from the sixt floor over lake balaton was great. The room was not to big but very cozy. The food was fresh and various. There were fresh vegetables and dishes made with chicken or pork. In front of the hotel there is a lot of space for parking.

This hotel is actually a resort for families, it has a private beach on the Balaton Lake, 2 swimming pools (one indoors for swimming and one outdoors for fun), sauna and a club for children that provides activities. This can be very handy as the weather at Balaton can change quickly and if it rains, your children will not get bored. The food is ok in the main restaurant, standard hotel food with decent variety, and the other restaurant at the beach serves the typical food you can have in a Balaton beach, ie, langos, fried fish, hamburger, corn, pancakes, etc. Overall it was a quite pleasant experience and I will be back.

The room was very small, though the space was well rationalized. Unfortunately adults cannot use the slides on the outdoors swimming pool :(

Unfortunately the food/main dish is getting cold very fast even you are between the first - colder scrumbled eggs/sausages/pasta🥹 This time there were very noisy mornings /6.floor/ - probably due to the construction near by but understandable👍

Check in was easy, everything was easy to find - great outdoor area by the lakeside with jetty and fun pool for the kids. All inclusive food and drink - good variety, and quality wasn't bad. Walking distance to the TESCO and the little high street and marina. Gas station across the road if you need it. Rooms were clean and tidy.

Rooms were a little small. Didn't see the pool or sauna, or try the massage / beauty services - next time perhaps!

This hotel has the perfect location, right at the water front with a very large private beach and all the commodities associated to it. The food is OK, but nothing special, and my daughter loved the children's club with different activities everyday.

The rooms are very small for a family with 1 toddler, but nobody goes to Balaton in Summer to spend time in the room. The building's isolation is very poor, i could really tell when the guests above my room were having a shower.

Small rooms, hotel bit old

The hotel has exceeded our expectations big time. We have booked one of their suits with a balcony,if you can, just do book that it worths it. The view was amazing! Huge, comfy bed, nice clean rooms. The staff was extremely helpful. The food was good and plenty of options. I am celiac and I had a good selection. We were happy with the selection of drinks. Indoor and outdoor dining options. It has a little beach side bar as well. The hotel has a private garden with an excellent pool for the kids and access to the lake. Hotel Marina, thank you for everything, we will come back!
