This is a hotel with character Clean, comfy, no luxury just nice fresh air And a pleasant atmosphere

Excellent room, awesome view, friendly staff

Reception staff was very friendly and the location is really good. 5 Minutes walk from Esterhazy Beach. The view to lake Balaton from the 3rd floor was stunning.

Very basic room, however it was clean.

we had a nice balcony, the room had natural light, the room was clean

the receptionist and the breakfast waitress we're not aligned on what time breakfast should be served until so we had some awkward encounters for wanting to eat breakfast at 10 am. The breakfast choices were poor. Just bread, coffe, meat, peppers and cucumber. No fruit or anything. Water tasted a bit weird. Bathroom was not so clean.

Staff was friendly and helpful during the day. Location is great, could easily walk to the promenade.

They had a large group of kids (at least 50) staying the nights we were there. The kids were unsupervised running through the halls blasting music. I wasn't bothered by this until the hotel failed to enforce a quiet your and allowed the partying to go until 4 in the morning.

Bed was comfortable

We didn't have warm water. In this hot wheater I would love to have a shower.

That the receptionist informed us before our stay about a large group of kids that may disturb our stay, and we can decide if we go further with our booking or not? To be honest the kids were ok, and we expected them so it wasn't an issue.

There was no air-conditioning and it was 40 degrees! We had to keep the windows open in the night in order to get some air in, but then a lots of different insects came in, it was disgusting. I had no sleep! We booked breakfast for 9.30 am. We turned up on time, and the member of stuff was looking at me funny asking why we are late as there is no service any more! I told her that we booked it for 9.30am, and she said she didn't know about it, and wasn't friendly at all. She Just brough us some not fresh looking left overs! I am not even making it up! We have stayed at 3 other hostels- not even hotels...and they were all nicely equipped, relaxing. I could have taken photo of the insects, but I didn't know I can upload here..
