Hotel Platán has oficially two stars but I think it should have a least three of them. + Staff was very polite, friendly (no problem with English) and cool. +- Rooms are big and comfy, with nice little terrave, only the bathroom could use some upgrade. + Big (for the persons) fridge. + There is also a pool (with cold wather) and a lot of space to hide from the sun. + Breakfast is good enaugh. + A lot of parking space behind the fence. *you can even buy some drinks for very low price at the reception All in all, from the check-in phase untill the end of our stay, great experience here.

- There where some ants in the bathroom. - Wather in the pool was very cold. - If you are picky eater be ready to be a bit hungry for breakfast.

Friendly staff and terrific quiet location, short walk to the lake. 5 minutes walk to shops and dining. Free access lakeside swimming (no fenced off "strand" swimming areas). Room was comfortable and clean and breakfast was included.

Drainage not good in the shower. I alerted the staff about this.

Amazing property by a beautiful lake ; it was clean andwell-managed, we were greeted and helped when we asked, the hotel is close to the lake, we utilized the pool and also enjoyed the breakfast very much. The beds were perfect and we slept very well.

Breakfast was included ín the Price. The lady who managed it was extremely helpful, even providing useful típs how to spend our day and get around Balaton. And the breakfast was perfect. 1 minute walk from the beach.

The wi-fi didn't work ín most of the rooms. It only works if you are ín the reception area

Location - close to train station and the lake. Nice and quiet. Friendly staff. Luggage storage for early arrivals done by the cleaner. Very good breakfast. Close to nice restaurants by the lake. Lovely garden.

Sensational location- very close to the lake, and the village itself very nice, lots of restaurants, and at the same time a lot of peace and quiet. As for the hotel itself, there is a swimming pool, pinpong and other entertainment. Staff very helpful and friendly

Lovely staff members and very close to the lake. The room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. Everything was so quiet and relaxing. They also provide gluten and lactose free options for breakfast.

Top location near lake Balaton and Balaton Sound festival. Big parking space with fence. Small pool.

Breakfast is poor.

Very nice and calm place if you want to take advantage of the lake Balaton with your family (swim, beach activities, parties ...). Near the beach and local accommodations.

Not hotel specific, but if you are more into visiting historical landmarks and hiking, I would suggest an accommodation at the northern side of the lake.

Nice comfortable hotel on excellent location. Enough parking space. Nice pool. Good breakfast.
