Set in the very lovely quiet area of Kolind, it is within a ten minute drive to the Aarhus Airport which, to our surprise, was incredibly quiet as well. Jane, the host, couldn't be any more welcoming if she tried. She was truly a high spirited host who very kindly offered us a drink when we arrived around 10pm on the evening we were checking in. [25th May] This is very much a basic but suitable bed and breakfast for short stays, due to there being no facilities in the room for coffee, but we had such a wonderful nights rest with a feather pillow and duvet, in a warm room, with a shared bathroom. Our flight was at 7am, well before breakfast unfortunately, but Jane's hosting really made up for the things this place did not have. Smoking is not allowed inside but directly outside the front door there is a bench and an ashtray, and being in such a quiet area I felt safe and comfortable. We do plan to come back to Kolind again and stop, but would likely see about bringing travel mugs and a portable travel kettle. Do not let the little things get in the way though, because the area is so quiet and peaceful, although Jane explained some shops are struggling due to the cost of living crisis and the pandemic did no favours to the scenic town at all. I'd say this is an ideal location for lone travellers, or couples etc. I was here with my mom, and our two friends were booked into the room next door. You have sufficient access to a tram into Aarhus, it's a short trip to the airport and is definitely value for money whether you have breakfast or not.

Love this place, everything is great, I chose to extend my stay. Quiet area close to the airport. Good transport links to Aarhus and only 20 minutes (tram) to Grenaa. Comfortable room and bed, all areas clean and tidy. Shared bathroom is well maintained. Check-in & out was good and simple, excellent customer service; will definitely book again in future. The host is super friendly and really makes you feel welcome.

We only stayed for one night, and it was all perfect for us. If we'd stayed longer, it would be good to have some glasses to be able to grab a cup of water whilst being in the room.

What was not seen in the pictures was old furniture, doors and everything about the house is outdated or very old, cold in the house, the impossibility of preparing something hot (no microwave, kettle, etc.), no wifi and no TV. If the pictures were more accurate and I would have read the reviews better, I would have stayed here only in emergencies and in no case with the family... The staff and the cleanliness of the bed linen were to be appreciated, otherwise you have nothing to appreciate
