The staff at The Brasilia are fantastic - so friendly and helpful - and the location is directly across from a great beach for which they will supply towels. There is easy, secure bike storage, a fridge in the room, and the air conditioning works well. It feels like a beach hotel - it's basic and a bit tired, but clean with everything you need. The cafe in the lobby has helpful staff and is open until 9 pm. Tip: If you would like to use your balcony, get a seaside room as the rooms at the back of the hotel look onto an inner courtyard that gets very hot.

Breakfast (extra charge) is quite expensive for what is provided.

Great location (couldn’t be better) and nice spacious room. Great air con. Comfy beds. Mainly nice staff and bar downstairs.

One of the young girls was a bit rude. The other staff were great, especially the lady who had travelled to Australia. She handled the power cuts and heat really well. Breakfast wasn’t great for the price but croissants and bread were nice. Boiled eggs over cooked, no bowls, fruit not nice etc. Would have been great to have a kettle and coffee/tea in the room.

Our 3rd stay at this hotel. Location is ideal and pet friendly. Safe car parking on a meter just outside the hotel, no height restrictions. Hotel has rooms with balconies and sea views, the views are lovely.

The over the bath showers are poor and send water shooting around the bathroom, the shower curtain fell down. Some money invested to sort the bathroom out and have a modern shower and screen would make this hotel so much better, everything else is ideal.

The location very good, exactly in the centre and at one step to the beach. Very clean and the personal very nice and helpful.

Sometimes in the night was noisy but just because is in the center and near the amusement park.

2nd time here as a dog friendly place to stop with lovely sea views from a comfortable room. Pay to park in the car park at the top of the road and you can move the car anywhere in the town with no additional charge. At certain times barrier opens to allow you to park on street in front of hotel. Two minute walk to river and shops etc..

Bathroom ready for an upgrade

The rooms were spacious with lovely balconies, good large double beds, and the staff were very cheerful and attentive; location by the beach and town centre is perfect. Would book again.

Not much to complain about, just maybe a little dated in places, and a lack of sockets in the bedroom (only one side of the bed)

Room was a bit small and basic but it was clean and well maintained. We did not have a fridge or hairdryer.

Very clean, great staff, nice breakfast, great view and location.

The shower was a little messed up, it was hard to get hot water and the shower head wouldn’t stay up.

The overall cleanliness and very comfortable bed and the situation of the hotel gave easy access to facilities in town

The douche,difficult to use one handedly and also the toilet paper position turned me into a contortionist
