We were on our way from Volos (Greece) to Reading (England) and enjoyed a great stop over at Portonovo in Hotel Internazionale located some 25 min. driving from Ancona port. We had disembarked from Igoumenitsa. Before pursuing on a further two long days of driving, we enjoyed our stay at a wonderful hotel in the Riviera di Conero enjoying gorgeous views over Portonovo Bay and the Adriatic. Hotel Internazionale location, its architecture, its garden, room decoration but above all its wonderful owners, management and hotel staff deserve all our warm congratulations for their professionalism, care and attention to detail. Dinner at the hotel was another treat. We will definitely come back on our next trip.

Everything was perfect.

The view is amazing. Room was very clear comfy and of good size, very clean. Staff at the reception and restaurant during breakfast and dinner were very friendly. The restaurant outside (covered terrace) has an amazing view.

Well, it seemed the restaurant is quite popular and in particular at dinner, rather towards the fancy side. In order to get to the reception or enter the hotel, one has to go through the restaurant. So, sometimes it felt weird to return from a walk rained on in hiking clothes and having to go through the restaurant where there may be people in fancy dress. We got a comment or two from visitors at the restaurant because of that. Idiots I guess, but may be they felt uncomfortable that we were comfortable having had a long walk. Dress code clash I guess!

The location is stunning, set on a hill, overlooking the sea. The beach and other restaurants are very close and can be accessed through pretty nature paths. The staff were wonderful, rooms very clean and large.

No fault of the property, it is expensive to get to by taxi. Busses had stopped running to the various small beach towns and to Ancona because we unknowingly arrived at the tail end of the beach season. Unfortunately it stymied some of our sightseeing plans.

Amazing and very helpful and friendly staff who go that extra mile for you. Superb location. All in all a wonderful family run hotel run to International best practice standards. Everyone there is extremely invested in making your stay happy. Extremely clean and well looked after. We hope to return certainly.

Nothing to dislike.

My family and I visited for wedding nearby. The setting stunning, views over the bay absolutely stunning location, staff are friendly, and accommodating

Nothing to eat between 14:30 and 20:00 nothing, and this is not a hotel thing. all local restaurants are closed, so take snacks or eat when on the road before you arrive, as there is no room service, if you arrive after 10:30 pm

Great location. Beautiful Hotel. Restaurant was very good and staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room had recently been sanitized using some strong smelling cleaner. We kept the door and patio open for several hours to get the odor to be acceptable.

This place, perched over Portonovo with incredible views from every single room, has style to spare. The breakfast is sumptuous, and the restaurant serves excellent local cuisine. The staff go above and beyond. And the hotel is pure elegance. I felt lucky I'd found it.

The staff is outstanding. When we arrived, we were shown a room with a lot of stairs to access. I told the clerk we couldn't do stairs due to mobilty ssues. She made a change and gave us a room that was accessable by the elevator, and the bar is good. Breakfast is good. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was good.

The hotel is located high up in the mountain, and the road is very twisted.

Beautiful views! Nice, clean rooms and gorgeous grounds. Great breakfast! Good restaurant. Wish we could’ve stayed more than one night. I would definitely go back again.

It’s tricky to find and not well marked. Parking is free which is nice but it’s not easy getting to the parking lot~it’s steep, narrow and winding.

the hotel has a popular restaurant (locals as well as guests) and it was disappointing as guests that dinner reservation was not made unless we asked. there was no clear alternative without walking down hill to beach so it is reasonable to assume guests will dine in.
