The best place we’ve stayed in Bali, one of the best places I’ve EVER stayed. The family who run this place are lovely and will go out of their way to help you out. The free breakfast is great, the rooms are comfortable and clean (with AC), the pool is glorious. It is SO nice to be out of the craziness of Ubud, but there is still lots to do within walking distance (nice restaurants and waterfalls too)! Do yourself a favour and stay here! We extended and wish we could have extended more…

The walls are a little bit thin so if people are loud outside you can hear it, but otherwise it is super quiet and we LOVED staying here.

I had a wonderful stay at Werkudara Homestay. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful — perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help with anything I needed, which made me feel right at home. The accommodation was spotless and well-maintained, showing real care and attention to detail. The pool was a real highlight — cool, clean, and the ideal spot to chill out after a day exploring. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a laid-back, comfortable place to stay. Mr G Warung just around the corner has some phenomenal food at local prices.

Lovely people that work there, very clean and rooms get cleaned daily. Nice pool, staff will help with scooter hire. Small breakfast every morning which changes daily. Hot shower.

Quite a big distance from Central Ubud but if you want to be in the countryside its great. Still lots of options of places to eat.

The owners are super friendly and helpful (Mangkus and Sandi). Pool is clean and convenient. Breakfast is good.

We loved being out of the main area of Ubud, but you need to know that it is a 15-20 minutes ride in scooter (between 50k idr and 100k idr depending on the time for a Grab transport one way).

The checkin was really smooth, the hosts personally showed us the property. They were very helpful, comforting. The villa we stayed in was a total value for money. It was beautifully built with care for detail. Very pleasant and peaceful stay, and the private pool a cherry on cake. With Ubud main street not more than 30 mins and a lot of waterfalls near by makes this property a must visit. The host made us drink a local Balinese drink called Arak, but make sure it’s legit otherwise can be harmful as well (You can die as well) Also for food near a lot of nearby cafes to try on. Thanks for having us.

Sandi and Mangku are wonderful people who seem to know exactly what their guests need and how to provide it. They share their wealth of local knowledge and culture generously and are great to talk with. Mangku’s breakfasts are delicious! The rooms are sparkling clean, the AC is quiet and works perfectly, the wifi is reliably good and the walls between rooms are solid brick so there’s virtually no neighbour noise. The pool is crystal clear, refreshing & cool and the little garden is lovely. Easy walking distance to two local waterfalls, and I recommend the coffee at Nulana Cafe on the main road and Ning’s Eatery just around the corner. Kemenuh is a lovely community and Werkudara is a gem.

Everything was just perfect. The owners were so sweet & helpful, the room was perfect, and super clean & cooling pool, and quiet, yummy breakfast. Perfect location just outside from busy Ubud center, but near you have amazing local cafes & restaurants where you can walk easily. You can also rent a scooter at the property, do laundry, and refill your water. It was just amazing! Recommend booking this place to enjoy real Bali life 🙏 and of course, it is perfect location if you want to do tourist things as well. Near you have 2 beautiful waterfalls. I love this place, I only stayed for 2 nights but I definitely would have stayed for longer if I could have. The owners, Sandi and Mangku, are so welcoming. We had some lovely chats and they very kindly invited me to a Balinese ceremony as well ♥️ The rooms are clean, it’s very relaxing and peaceful, the garden is heavenly. Breakfast was yummy, I had french toast and pancakes, with fresh fruit. I have a bike so it’s easy for me to get around, but I’m sure it’s also easy enough to get Gojeks and Grabs. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay 🥰

We had three great days with our most lovely hosts. They make you feel welcome from the start till the end. The beds were super large and comfortable and the rooms properly dark so we slept till after breakfast time twice, and still got our breakfast ;-) It was really special living on the property of this family, along with three generations living on the same property, yet you have all the privacy you want. Around the corner was My G Warung, a very good and reasonably priced restaurant with high quality local food. Not to forget the pool, which was a great joy for the kids and a nice place to chill. Over all a superb place for a reasonable price.
