Booked this hotel based on a friend's recommendation - she stayed here last year. Everything was excellent. Clean modern décor, nice and friendly staff (which is almost a norm in Taiwan), central location - near to the famous Fengjia Night Market 逢甲夜市. Most of the attractions in Taichung is quite spread out and not in the city centre. We got the hotel front desk to recommend a daily-rated taxi to bring us around and the driver was excellent - great driving around the hilly roads.

More like further enhancement. A couple of hooks in the bathroom so that we can hang our clothes during shower. And towel racks please - otherwise we'll be throwing the used towels all over the place.

Place is great for the price. Free Instant noodles, coffee, tea, etc... good place to hang out. There is no need to wait for hot water when showering, which is awesome especially when cold front is hitting.

I think the very few things that I can complain is the heater. The hotnair only stays at the main entrance, however, you don't feel room hot where the bed is. It's cold. The time we visited is because when the cold front hitting the whole city and we chose this hotel because it's air does have heater. The place where the air is blowing to need to rethink! The parking is an issue! Becareful not to double pay if you car is singed up for auto pay.

Absolute highlight is that there is a free snack bar. Includes some unique lollies, snacks and instant noodles. Soft drink cans, tea and coffee are also free. The staff spoke English perfectly fine. Had a great time relaxing in the lobby with stylish decor and some puzzles. The hotel includes some kids toys you can borrow for a picnic at the nearby park. The hotel is about 15min walk from the night markets which is quite nice considering public transport to any other night market is much longer. The breakfast is delivered to your room in a cute wooden box. Food was more than enough for me but I tend not to have an appetite in the morning. You can choose from a short menu of what you'd like. We had the option of toast, sandwiches or noodles and then you can select a drink. The room was beautiful with large windows and a balcony that had a small tree. It was a pretty view of the city except for a bit of construction. The room has a TV with YouTube or a couple of movies. Some of the movies are quite recent so that was nice to watch. They provide a loofah body scrubber along with all the common amenities. And they have hair conditioner which I have to call out that none of the other hotels that I stayed at in Taiwan provided. They gave some small glass and cork bottles of perfume after we checked out and it's a nice way to remember our time there.

Hardly a negative but needed some more q-tips as they don't replace the amenities in the room after house cleaning. The walk isn't too bad to the nearest train station but with luggage it's quite tiring.

it is very sustainable hotel where they served breakfast in a warmer bag which you can take it back home. Even the cafe beside served healthy breakfast. every room come with a balcony but with a small tree. it is within 15mins walk to fengjia night market.

location wise is not very centralised to lots of attraction. nearest train station is about 10mins. fengjia night market also need 15mins of walking time.

The room size was good and beds were comfortable. The playground right in front of the hotel and some toys prepared by the hotel was a great help in keeping kids entertained. The neighbourhood was also relatively quiet and if u don't mind walking, shopping malls (Mitsukoshi, Top City) are about 25-30mins away, Feng Chia Night Market about 15 mins. The free flow snacks at the lobby was great gesture and there were about 5 choices for the packed breakfast and they were tasty.

There was nothing much around the hotel, night market, restaurants and train station were at least 10 mins walk away. Although the room was clean, they could maybe step up on maintenance; our bath tub's hand shower was faulty and the lever fell off even after getting them to fix on day 1.

Clean minimalist design, comfy tatami style beds, lots of toys for kids in the lounge area.

Requested a baby cot (the listing said it was available), but when we arrived they only had a small infant lounger which was completely unfeasible for our 1 year old. We had no choice but to pay for an additional guest mattress, which added to our cost per night significantly.

I had low expectations, so when I arrived it was a pleasant surprise to see how clean and aesthetically pleasing it was. I felt very reassured here, especially since I usually suffer allergies if the place is not sufficiently clean. Here, I had no problems at all. I eagerly came back to the room after a day out. the service was excellent and helpful. regarding food, there were two options, either we got a coupon for macdonalds, or we could have food delivered to our room. the food was very satisfying. I would stay here again.

the toilet was a little small for my liking, and the windows always needed to be shut before I used the facilities. also the shower area sometimes wet the toilet seat corner, so that was a bit inconvenient. but I won't harp on this too long because this are relatively minor pet peeves of mine. Overall I was still extremely happy - especially with the bidet

Loved the decoration, service and Japandi-style room. Indeed suitable for lazing around and they provide a cute guide on how to make yourself comfortable in the rooms! Breakfast were served in a warmer bag to your room to enjoy. Shower amenities were great and my husband enjoys it too. Would have purchased it if they have smaller bottles

Location is further from the night markets but the quiet neighborhood makes up for it.

Breakfast was alright, the drinks served were superb (soya bean and red tea were nice). Main dish was good but not entirely our kind of breakfast. Location was in a quiet corner of a street, so it is not disruptive for nights. Has a small park in the front to do morning walk with my kid. Hotel facilities were well kept and maintained, including the ones in the room. Free flow instant noodles provided, coke and sprite as well! For parents bringing babies / infant, this hotel has a plus point which is a UV and heat box for usage located at the lobby. I did not need to use sterilizing pills for my stay. Super convenient for us who was traveling with our 8months infant. Uber-eat is all around the area and Feng Jia night market is about 10-15mins walk away. Shopping mall is about 20mins walk down the stream.

The baby cot was not the one caged up, but the one laid onto the bed or floor for the kid to sleep. Caused abit of hassle for us because our infant was not used to sleeping on that and kept playing with us thinking he was on bed with us. Would be perfect if there are caged cot available so to place infants confined in the cot temporarily.
