Location - Location is bang on, just right on the beach. In fact, food & drink if your order from restaurant, they can serve at the beach. Food - Delicious food. Had lunch and dinner both at the restaurant and never disappointed. Also Zomato and Swiggy is available and allowed to order. Service - Staff was quick and responsive. Room - Room was good but needs some repair. They cleaned daily within given time. Cleanliness - It was raw as it should be since it is wooden cottage and overall it felt good. Check in process - Easy check in without any hassle.

Parking - Street is very narrow to the parking so its difficult to park. Moreover, if another car comes from opposite direction, one has to reverse until there is a space to pass by. Food - Tasty food but menu is very limited. Room - It was monsoon so there was some leakage from the roof and it ruined my shoes as it was dripping directly on my shoes for whole night. Lighting in room - There was very low light not much brightness which makes it difficult for females while getting ready. Hot water - There was no hot water available as geyser was not working. Informed multiple times but no solution.

The setting was delightful. The cottages were very comfortable with view out into greenery which still felt private. The rest of baga beach was not really our cup of tea but the little India bongo beach bar was lovely as were the couple of places nearby, making that stretch of beach peaceful and relaxing. The staff could not have been more attentive both in the cottages and on the beach and very reasonable prices for what we got. While massages, fruit, jewellery etc were available on the beach no one was too pushy.

Food could have been better although some dishes were ok.

A very cozy bungalow complex with a pool and convenient beach access. The staff, both at the hotel and the beachside restaurant, are wonderful—very friendly and attentive to your comfort. Super comfortable stay, with almost no beggars or pushy vendors (and if they do appear, the staff takes care of it immediately). I also can't help but mention that the owner is an amazing person! We spent many hours having warm and heartfelt conversations. Thank you, Salvo, for this place and your great boys! :)

We had a wonderful stay at Little India Beach Resort in Goa from April 30 to May 3. The resort’s beachside location is absolutely perfect—offering stunning views and a peaceful, relaxing vibe throughout our stay. The property is clean, beautifully maintained, and designed with a charming aesthetic that blends perfectly with the coastal surroundings. The rooms were comfortable, the food was delicious, and every detail was well taken care of. A special mention to Austin from the staff, whose exceptional service and warm hospitality truly stood out. He went the extra mile to make our stay even more enjoyable, and we’re very grateful for his efforts. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a calm, beachside retreat in Goa. We’d definitely love to return!

Everything was great

The accommodation was set in a little tropical garden offering peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets. The beach was 2 minutes walk away through the gorgeous garden. The pool was peaceful, lots of shade, the staff couldn’t do enough for you and always smiling and saying hello. The bongo shack on the beach served delicious coffee and food, we ate there most days and made some lovely friends who work there. Probably n the best place we’ve ever been and we will be coming back in 6 months time.

Nothing we didn’t like.

We stayed here for two nights before we headed to the south, and we wished we booked more nights ! This is in the middle of Baga and Calangate beach, it was only a handful of people where our beach was which was great! When we walked down to Baga beach it was very busy. Beautiful cottages and scenery. It is not directly on the beach which is what I thought when I booked it, however it turned out to be a positive, it was a minute or two walk to the beach through gorgeous pathway, the beach was full of bars and shacks that had music on of a night anyway so we didn’t hear a peep from where our cottage was. It also has a pool which was perfect to get away from the summer heat. The restaurant that is accompanied by the cottages was brilliant ! All the staff was very helpful and kind, we had lovely food and drinks here. It is also beach lounges included for hotel guests which was great. All the staff were amazing, helpful and lovely ! The only slight negative I would mention is there are a few ladies offering jewellery/massages, one or two offers is great but after a couple times saying no it felt a little awkward ! But never less the ladies are very kind and helpful, lovely to chat to and they are only trying to do their job 😊 Overall we loved our stay and would stay again !!

Cute cottages Staff are efficient and friendly. Nice warm showers. Good communication. Easy to get taxi around the area. Good AC so had some good sleep but head phones or ear buds are essential as there is loud music playing from essentially empty bars .. they need a curfew time perhaps. The accommodation is beautiful. Friendly people staying there. Good location for excursions. Local taxi ranks just around the corner.

Food was ok. Would like more evidence they are committing to hygiene standards as it is a beach shack. It’s not to do with the accom but the whole of Baga beach area is pretty intense. Certainly not a relaxing beach by any means. Loud music. The whole place needs fewer beach bars and lighting. Often bars are completely empty and felt soulless. No need for music in half the places to be playing considering it’s totally empty in most of them. We stayed for 4 days but after this we were ready to move south for some peace and quiet. People trying to sell you things constantly which is pretty exhausting. Most of course incredibly friendly but still tiring. Could offer more things such as morning yoga as they have a nice space to facilitate this.

This is the review I didn't really want to do, to tell everyone about this very special place, an oasis of peace and quiet amid the very lively Baga beach. I stayed for the last week of my hectic tour of Goa ,Kerrala and Sri Lanka, the perfect retreat to recuperate after 3 weeks of travel. The Bongo Beach Shack is part of the Little India Beach Cottage setup and the perfect place to stroll down for breakfast, lunch and dinner or just a beer or cocktail. Great service and superb food, thanks to Sajen and the Bongo crew. I really would like this place to be a well kept secret so shhhhh

I loved everything

Our beach cottage was the perfect place to stay in Baga, 2 minute walk to the beach, very nicely decorated, aircon and fan worked well and the shower was warm! The Bongo Shack by the beach allowed you to get food and drink delivered to the room and the staff were great (especially Sam). Although we didn’t use the pool it also looked very nice, highly recommend this stay!

If the cottage is called Oceanside it doesn’t actually mean it will have a sea view as none of them do, but the beach is extremely nearby. We were a bit confused when we first arrived though. The vegetation has grown up more since the pictures so it’s actually prettier than the pictures show!

This is between Baga and calngute so location was good , Baga and calngute are super loud and crowded and thi sone was calm

Wifi , This is th eonly thing i would ask to improve as mobile network is not good this becomes more critical
