Staff was wonderful, rooms were very nice, location is outstanding. Wemding is the perfect location for discovering the Nordlingen Ries and Altmuhltal. Both Solnhofen and Nordlingen, for instance, can be reached in less than 30 minutes by car. This was the primary reason for choosing Wemding, but the town itself exceeded expectations - very scenic, easy to find nice (and affordable!) restaurants. We also dined at the hotel restaurant, and that was very nice too. Breakfast was very nice, in a nice traditional setting. Rooms were nice, quite big, clean, and quiet (despite being above the little cinema), WIFI was very good. And the staff was absolutely wonderful, very friendly and helpful. We were traveling with our two adolescent boys, they had their own room, with separate beds. I requested this through Booking.com chat function and the positive response from the owner was very fast and friendly. In all an excellent experience.

We had opted to stay in the area as it was en route between Oberammergau and Nuremberg, so quite random. It was a great choice as the family running it were lovely and really helpful. We opted for the breakfast which was great quality and very generous. The owner/manager gave us recommendations for the two days we were there, both of which were really good. We ate in the restaurant on one night and the food was excellent.

Super lovely hotel! Big room, nicely soundproof with excellent water pressure kept impeccably clean.

place is super clean -> this is the most important category in my opinion very lovely and friendly staff -> it is awesome to see smiling and helping people around you great location -> it is at a walking distance to everything which can be necessary ( shops, restaurants etc ) we had a very short stay, so couldn't make use of it, but -> it even has its own cinema right at the guest building.. just wauw :))
