Breakfast is very traditional, fresh and delicious. It is located in the main building at the entrance of their campus and is comfortable enough for a family of 4 to sit together. Food display is buffet style, but they have an egg station for you to have eggs as you wish. The rooms are large and spacious, the air unit is cold, and the water in the showers are comfortably hot.

It is a two story building without an elevator, so beware if you have a lot of luggage to haul or family members with mobility issues. The location is in a rough area but once you're in the parking space it is well illuminated and feels safe.

Very nice and clean hotel not far from the airport. Nice pool and pool bar. The food in the restaurant was very tasty, just a smaller portion than I'm used to.

The last night before the flight, when I had to get up early, they had a party there, so I didn't sleep very well because of the children's screams and loud music. The staff was nice, but it was so impersonal, which is understandable. They had a mess in the system and the next day they wanted to kick me out of the room, but I showed him the reservation so he understood. Every day I had to go to the reception to activate the card because it didn't work. Maybe a suggestion for improvement, it's annoying. Nevertheless, I will stay there again next time, I liked it there.

I recently stayed at Hotel Agualcas in Managua, Nicaragua, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel itself was nice and clean, which I appreciated. However, there were a few aspects that I found less satisfactory. One issue I encountered was the unpleasant smell of mold in the restaurant. This was a disappointment, as it affected the overall dining experience. Additionally, I found it somewhat excessive that the hotel staff counted the towels upon check-in and warned guests about potential charges for missing towels. Similarly, the policy of charging $20 for a lost key seemed a bit steep, especially considering the possibility of reused keys. While the restaurant staff were generally friendly and accommodating, I did notice that some of the hosts were not as welcoming as I would have expected. On a related note, I found it unnecessary that the hotel required the names of all guests, including children, for each room. This seemed redundant, considering that we were still paying for the room regardless. On a positive note, I appreciated that the hotel is relatively new and well-maintained. The cleanliness of the property was evident, which added to the overall comfort of the stay. However, it is worth mentioning that the hotel’s proximity to the airport means that guests can expect to hear loud planes passing overhead. This may be unsettling for some individuals, particularly those sensitive to noise. In conclusion, Hotel Agualcas in Managua, Nicaragua, offers a clean and relatively new accommodation option. While there were some minor issues, such as the mold smell in the restaurant and certain unfriendly hosts, the overall experience was satisfactory. However, guests should be aware of the noise from nearby planes due to the hotel’s proximity to the airport.

The bed was somewhat hard, and the sheets were a little too thin.

The place was calm and quiet. A wonderful place for a good night of sleep. The pool was clean and there's plenty of parking for each room. Restaurant staff wonderful!

Lobby staff could be a little bit more kind. There's no fridge on the room. Drinkable water was not available at the room, you had it to requested on the lobby and wait until they send it to the room and towels for the pool as well, so you gotta wait around 15 minutes until they bring it to your room. WiFi was not given until we asked on the lobby.

Clean, updated, proximity to airport

NEED TO SPELL OUT IN THE ABOUT: shuttle only 8-8 PM. Main reason we booked was because there was a shuttle, and we couldn’t even use. Majority of Nicaragua flights are super late/early; so shuttle is useless. Please state that in the about section; or offer a paid shuttle. Thankfully, a kind staff member helped us get a very inexpensive taxi. One staff member tried to tell us it would be $20 USD to travel 4 KM to the airport. That was ridiculous.

The breakfast was excellent and staff members were truly friendly.

The only thing is that the facility is near the airport, consequently,planes constantly flying in and out which creates too much noise.

This was the perfect place for a one night or two night stay near Managua or for the airport..clean, food and pool. The shuttle starts a little late about 8:00 a.m. Also great for three adults in the three bedroom unit. Nice size rooms with three beds.

I wish they had a shuttle 24 hours.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice pool area. Included breakfast a good quality and we ordered pasta for dinner the night before which was very tasty. Included shuttle to the airport is a huge bonus!

Location isn’t the nicest but it’s very useful for the airport.

The pool did not have good steps into the pool, they were too low in the water. Once I stepped down, I knew I would not be able to get out of the pool because I am short and I have arthritis in my knee. My husband pulled me up but I almost slipped backwards. I felt this was not safe.

Good airport hotel. Clean comfortable rooms. Pool and restaurant great

People up all night in car park drinking and noisy. Security did nothing. Not great for an airport hotel where people are trying to sleep between flights.
