The theme of a victorian era building was taken care to detail. The pool had a different shape which made it feel bigger than it was. The location just in front of central park is perfect.

Although they told me they had a designated security guard for the parking (which is not in the same building btw) there was never anyone there, I had to call the receptionist every time and he opened the door for me, this was no concern security wise but it was a hassle waiting for him to open the door every time.

Clean and comfortable. Reasonable rate if booked on mobile app. Nice location in town.

We did not like the breakfast much. They served the toast with something they called honey, but it was diluted syrup. Homemade jam would be much better. The toast was very boring, but the Nicaraguan breakfast was excellent. The fruit bowl was great.

Everything was clean and staff was super friendly. Excellent staff in resturant and hotel staff. Hotel is up kept very well and rooms were great.

No working bar up stairs and they can put glasses in room. The mini bar fridge is on the floor and being smaller it could be off the ground.

Beautifully designed hotel, comfortable and cool. Refreshing pool and good restaurant. Centrally located with gated secure parking two blocks away. After a long hot border crossing from Costa Rica, this is the spot to head to.

It's no big deal really but I would have liked hotter water in the shower.

Such a charming hotel! The staff were so helpful. The guy at reception helped me sort through my onward journey and booked a taxi for me well in advance, so I could leave in a timely manner. The hotel is in a nice location in the main square. There are good breakfast options— some hearty options, along with some lighter ones.

It’s a lovely hotel, very comfortable, clean, well-furnished, a nice little pool to cool off in and well located on the main square at Rivas. Quite luxurious, very relaxing. Don’t rush through Rivas, stay a night here and enjoy the facilities.

Beautiful yard with pool, spacious room and luxurious bed. Quiet even though it’s very centrally located. Shops and restaurants in easy walking distance, covered and protected parking included. Good breakfast with many choices. Overall an amazing value for a stay, returning from Ometepe.

We love the property and all of the staff. Beds are very comfortable , the room is nicely appointed. The pool is stunning !

The only complaint we have about the rooms is they smell musty and moldy and they try to cover it up with a very strong and unpleasant air freshener. I tried to request a top floor room thinking it might smell better but they said nothing was available.

We stayed for my wife’s birthday for a bit of luxury and it did not disappoint. Loved being able to have a do in the pool in the afternoon and enjoy a drink poolside. The breakfasts we generous and taste! The staff were super friendly and helpful.

We had a brilliant stay at Gran Hotel Victoria & the staff were exceptional and went above & beyond to help us & make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed, particularly after my partner had an accident & ended up in Rivas hospital. The restaurant was good, facilities were clean & pool area was great. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are transiting through Rivas!
