Excellent attention to guests, prompt and helpful, both online and in person. Breakfast was lovely too. Cosy room. Love waking up to the smell of freshly baked bread. Love that it's pet friendly. Right by train station and the Puricelli trail. Easy to walk to the urban centre for restaurants and supermarkets. Even in summer the nights and early mornings are cool. Great place for solo travellers, couples and families.

-The staff is very friendly and kind, everyone is 10/10. -The place is simple, but cozy and extremely clean. -It is super close to the Renfe station and to the Carretera de las Dehesas, and this facilitates the life of people doing hiking without a car. -I felt warmed and welcomed there.

-The checkin is a bit late, 3pm. I knew it that in advance, but it is even so late. -In the shower it would be helpful to have a support or something to hold the soap, shampoo, etc. I had to put them on the box's floor while taking a shower. - The breakfast is nice. However, I missed scrambled eggs and more option for cheese.

Located across the street from the station and right off the main hiking trails. A 15 min walk to town where there are nice restaurants. The room itself was super roomy and comfortable. They not only allow dogs but cater to them, leaving them with beds and bowls (and a few treats :)). Really nice stay in a cute mountain town outside of Madrid.

The property is an older, stone building in the mountains. Walls are a bit thin, so if you have noisy neighbors, it can be a little disruptive.

We loved the view from the bedroom window, the room itself was very adorable with handmade wooden bedframe. Staff at the reception was lovely and the garden around the property was magical. We'd come back.

The check in was very annoying, we came without checking the email and it turned out that reception was closed and we were freezing outside without possibility to come inside. I was reading all the emails in the meantime to see if there's any code but there were many and on the mobile it wasn't that easy. It turned out that we were supposed to check in online before coming and write on whatsapp, but, again, with frozen fingers and on the phone it was very dificult to find the right link that will work, put in all the details etc. At the end 40 min later reception called us and gave us instructions how to come in but we were really cold and annoyed at this point.

I had difficulty obtaining key for the room. And was a bit annoyed when the owner turned up to sort it out. But she is so lovely that I couldn't hold it against her for long! Apart from that little problem, it was excellent. Very atmospheric. And you can start walking up into the lower slopes almost straight from the door.

Entry instructions

The hotel building is historic and charming, located directly next to the railway station. Around the corner there are several tourist routes. There are several places on the property to sit and admire the views. Breakfasts are plentiful and varied. Impeccable cleanliness. We were there at the end of October, the facility was heated, so it was warm and cozy.

The location is a bit away from the center (shops and restaurants) about 15 minutes on foot. For some this may be a nuisance. The room was too dark (tiny window).

The room was impeccable. It was warm, very clean, and had everything I needed. There was a supplemental charge for my dog but that's common in most places.

The breakfast is lacking (i.e. prepackaged tomato and I think the coffee is instant coffee), but for the price of the room, it was okay. I didn't even expect breakfast so it was a bonus.

The location is very easy for train travel and for reaching the hiking areas in Las Dehesas. The garden around the historic building is charming and the breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly, and accommodating with regard to keeping our luggage there before check in and after check out.

Things were quiet overall but the walls are quite thin and I heard someone in the next room snoring... and other rooms' doors being shut or opened. Also, we checked in at the hotel instead of online and it was a very slow process. We don't know if it was the computer or if the person helping us normally doesn't handle it (being as it was early) but it took a long time.

Very nice place to stay for some hikes in the mountains and forests around. Lots of trails going up and around as well. The hotel has lots of greenery around and it's very tranquil and relaxing. Easy access by train and bus from Madrid. It's literally across the street from the train station. Mariola was very helpful and friendly, provided lots of good recommendations for restaurants in the area.

Soundproofing is not great, which is understandable, as it's an old place. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of.

Staff was very nice and welcoming, the rooms are very clean, the location is very accessible by public transportation. Quiet at night, walking distance from downtown and supermarkets.

Some noise during the day, but at night it's very quiet, so it's fine
