This hotel is the most memorable one from my trip to Uzbekistan,with a strong ethnic character.Staying here is wonderful!Quvonch is a talkative and humorous guy with excellent English,who has helped us a lot!I appreciate all the kind people I've met here.❤️

Hotel Minzifa is very comfortable and located in a quiet corner of the old town with easy access to the exterior gates. We had a larger room on the main floor, which was perfect for a three-night stay. The room's decor reflected the designs and patterns seen around the old town. It was spotless and very quiet. The breakfast buffet and a variety of items each day were sufficient to start a day of exploring. The real treasure of this hotel is the collection of handmade suzanis available for sale. The dining room only showed off a few examples, but if you ask, the manager will show you more. They showed us handmade and machine-made pieces and explained the different styles and materials. You can see the quality of the collection immediately compared to anything sold in the central shops of the old town. All the hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made our stay feel special.

Exceedingly elegant old style town house with tall wooden pillars holding balconies that shade the entrance court. There’s also a back yard resembling a Madrasa where each room has its own entrance directly from the courtyard. The large twin room was entirely decorated in traditional Uzbek style, with spacious modern bathroom where the decoration of the tiles seamlessly connected it with the style of the room. It’s located 5 minutes walk from the buzz of the Lyabi Houz square with many restaurants and shops. All old Buchara monuments are walkable, for example walk to Poy Kalyan square is about 15-20 minutes. There are also convenient little tuktuks if you get tired.

The staff (Becca) was very nice. The room was large with good AC. The decor was authenticly local. The location was excellent for all the tourist attractions. The breakfast was ok. We arrived very early and although we couldn’t check in until 2 we were able to leave our bags.

The room was overpriced compared to others in the area. They didn’t accept credit cards and yet couldn’t make change for cash either. They tried to enforce we make a review before allowing us to leave but we needed to catch a train and somehow they left a review of ‘10’ after we logged into their iPad….

Hotel Minzifa is a charming and authentic place to stay in Bukhara. The ambience is wonderful, with a beautifully designed interior and exterior that reflect traditional Uzbek architecture. It truly captures the essence of the city's rich heritage. The breakfast was excellent, offering a great variety of delicious options. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. A thoughtful touch was the lovely gift bag they gave us, with their logo stitched on it—a memorable keepsake from a great stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bukhara!

The room was well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. However, the bed was quite hard, which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable.

Staying here was an absolutely amazing experience. They have 2 different kinds of courtyards with each their own style of rooms. The rooms in the wooden building have an amazing interior. My wife and I are both rough sleepers and sensitive to heat; the staff was so kind to listen to our worries and even changed a room (for free) in order to have sufficient airco and sleeping space. In other words: the staff really went the extra mile! They were always available and even provided an extra for my birthday (even though I only mentioned it accidentally). Moreover, the location is very close to the city center yet still very well tucked away in a nice enclosure. We’ll definitely stay here again if we’ll be back in Bukhara! Heck, these guys are one of the reasons we want to come back to Bukhara. The staff is one of the friendliest we’ve ever met.

Room is small but very comfortable. Power plug adaptor and big kettle provided. The staff were very helpful in many ways including providing recommendations on sight seeing and food. They were always ready to answer question and provide any assistance when required. I would like to specially commendate Sherzod for his exceptional services.

They have a very good restaurant nearby named Minzifa Restaurant. All other top sightseeing spots or places are near the hotel. Overall Excellent and 5 Star Rating.

Unavailability of Light Snacks, Evening Snacks, Lunch and Dinner within the Hotel Premises as they have their own Minzifa Restaurant in nearby location.

Beautiful authentic interiors, the traditional Bukhara look & feel, good location within walking distance of all the major attractions in the city, and very helpful staff (special shoutout to Nasrallah and Azmat) who assisted us in navigating the city, getting a taxi to the station, and even ordering food late at night when there were no other options :)

More vegetarian options in the breakfast, more hot items (especially during winter), and the area around the hotel looked a bit underdeveloped

The hotel is in a great location. It is close to the historical monuments/landmarks. It is also close to many fantastic restaurants. We went in the off-season so it felt like we had the streets to ourselves. We also enjoyed the layout of the hotel, as it felt old-fashioned (in a very good way). It felt like staying in an inn or a hotel a hundred years ago. Guest service is also fantastic. They were helpful, such as recommending restaurants to eat.

The breakfast option was pretty good but wasn't too outstanding.
