The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. For the location and the price, I felt my two week stay was worth it and exactly what I was looking for. Nothing extremely fancy, just a safe, clean place to sleep, watch TV, and prepare meals in. I was very grateful for the coffee machine, microwave, and good-sized mini fridge. The wifi was decent enough to stream shows on my laptop and use my phone. However, it would lag quite a bit during peak hours. The room had a fair bit of road noise due to the location being directly next to 580 and 101. Fortunately, it does quiet down later at night. I'm also used to city noise when I sleep so it wasn't too big of a deal. There were also plenty of grocery and convenience stores within walking distance. The motel is located in a Hispanic neighborhood, so there were a lot of great Mexican food options. There is also an awesome coffee shop called Weavers directly in the back of the lot. I highly recommend going there as well. I will definitely be staying here again if I am ever in the area.

I was so happy with the cleanliness, understated decor, convenience and most of all, the kind & warm reception I received upon check-in and during my weeklong+ stay. The location is convenient to downtown San Rafael, bus terminal, SF and points north. I use a bicycle for transportation so the proximity to shopping, restaurants and the downtown area is a big plus. I appreciated the attention to detail and the owner's willingness to assist in making my stay comfortable and effortless. I highly recommend, it's a great hotel and great value for the money and the service. I slept well, beds are exceptionally comfy, there's a very big TV, sink outside the bathroom, which has a shower - tub combination. Good coffee/tea setup, armchair and good sized desk for writing. Good lighting for reading . Free parking with 2 gas stations within a two block radius, as well as Enterprise rental car 2 blocks down.

Excellent location, quiet, big comfortable beds, accommodating flexibility in booking extra days, close to several grocery and shopping centers as well as hiking spots, rooms well stocked and staffed by cleaning ladies each day, fridge and microwave, coffee maker, TV and adequate work space.

No breakfast (though advertised on booking.com and confirmed via message by the business for the dates booked), carpet visibly dirty at corners and along wall, cobwebs on ceiling, chipped plaster on walls and worn furniture, etc, no extended checkout, condom wrapper found behind bed, holes in towels provided on a couple of days.

Nice facilities, cleanliness, and low price makes this place a good value.

"Breakfast" was disappointingly minimal and subpar...

Was “Back at the North Bay Inn!!” again for a nite….these King Suites upstairs are just spectacular…..SO LARGE @ CLEAN @ COMFY @ BEAUTIFULLY FURNISHED @ BATHROOM TILE IS AWESOME!!:):) Thanks once again to Anita….amazing @ welcoming @ extremely efficient!! “Inn On Site Manager”…..she is truly outstanding♥️🙏👍⭐️🌙💫✨🌟

Only drawback is a lil bit of noise from nearby Hwy 101 Freeway…but rooms are very soundproof and VIEWS AT NITE FROM UPSTAIRS ARE STUNNING!!! All rolling hills @ mountains (U can see peak of Mt. Tam clearly!!) @ diverse topography is GORGEOUS…Oh my goodness!!:):)🤩🤩🤩♥️♥️♥️

I was surprisingly and delightfully impressed w/the “standards” of this lil North Bay Inn….especially the impeccable attention to detail @ CLEANLINESS!! First @ Foremost, it is VERY centrally located….for business or pleasure…. just off Hwy 101 (Marin County…only several miles to the Golden Gate Bridge @ San Fran on one side….Napa just 30 mins to the North)…Inn situated w/in outskirts of San Rafael area:) off Hwy 580 Ramp. HUGE and extremely comfortable King Rooms are immaculate and CLEAN and tastefully furnished w/detail AND practicality:):) @ all simple amenities one may need/desire. Basically in a business park like area w/a lovely quaint “coffee shop” on corner of property (separate from the Inn)….that opens at 6am!!:):) Just a quick jaunt down side street to San Rafael (Trader Joes, Whole Foods, various gas, grocery, restaurants, businesses, etc:) When I arrived, all carpets in each room had just been thoroughly @ professionally cleaned….I was thrilled!!!! Carpets and Rooms were in terrific shape and spotless!!! (29 July/2024:):) SO IMPRESSED by that in itself being a “clean freak” shall we say:):) Anita (office manager:) greeted me with professionalism @ assertively answered any/and all questions or enquiries I had. She was organized, efficient and very capable and excellent in her management position. Her experienced cleaning staff know how to clean properly and maintain a high standard!!:):)

Just a tad noisy….nothing offensive whatsoever….rooms provide a decent sound barrier to the busy Hwy 101 that runs north and south and Hwy 580 (Richmond) Ramp.

Have stayed at North Bay Inn several times now. It all starts with the extremely efficient, organized, conscientious, welcoming Property Onsite Manager ANITA. She is terrific and just knowing she is there…..grants me confidence EVERY stay that things will be handled….and handled well!!!!👍👍👍

Only thing one must realize is the property is just off Hwy 101….so some might find it a lil noisy…but that also provides an easy access to EVERYTHING….AND it is SO centrally located….ALSO rooms are extremely soundproof considering!!!:):)

Price, location

When we had a family member over to settle on where to go for dinner they called the room and reminded us we had checked on for two and the Visitor must leave. We explain it was family and we were closing a dinner site. They were adamant we said two…..later that evening when we got back the hotel was packed with nice workers and their trucks for the night.

This was a real treat. The property is maintained so well. Everything is in good shape, the rooms are ample and comfortable and the bathroom facilities are excellent. It is very well located just off the freeway and while it looks less stellar than nearby hotels on the same block on the outside, the inside is great! Also, parking is ample and convenient and the manager is very friendly and helpful. It was extremely good value for the money.

The room was clean and looked like it had recently been refreshed... the bathroom had pretty tile floors and shower, the carpet looked new, the sheets and covers were clean and looked new.

The neighborhood is more industrial than business, and the freeway is real close. But the room was quiet and lovely.
