Quiet, peaceful hotel with lovely views of the estuary and tidal flats. Walking and biking paths (hotel provides bikes for guests). Excellent complementary breakfast buffet; wine and cheese happy hour, fresh baked cookies every night, fresh coffee and bottled water complementary 24/7. Great restaurants walking distance. Shopping malls within 5-10 minute drive. Easy access to freeway. Sausalito, Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco very close. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Extremely comfortable hotel and pleasurable stay.

The Acgua Hotel was perfect on all levels. The location is ideal. The staff was top notch. Everyone we spoke to was super helpful. Starting with Nicholas who checked us in. The breakfast was more than expected. Every option was yummy. Fresh. Filling. The wine and cheese were a nice touch. The beds were so comfortable and had to options of pillows. I was so grateful for that. This will be our go to hotel when we return to the area.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Amazing clean facilities. Beautiful area in back to just sit and enjoy the view along with walking trials. We arrived for check in and just in time for wine and cheese. Loved that coffee was available all day in the lobby. A buffet breakfast was included but we were unable to take advantage of it as we had previous plans. The hotel staff was exceptional. friendly and helpful. When we were checking out, one of thee staff realized it was my husband's birthday and provide us with a bottle of champagne to go!

It was right next to the highway which could be a plus or minus. But not a problem as far as noise. Could not hear a thing.

We were 3 adults and booked two rooms at Acqua Hotel. One room was ready when we checked in around 3:30pm so we left our luggage in that room and enjoyed the beautiful setting of this hotel. We walked along the waterway to dinner. Our weather was beautiful so we thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary wine, cheese and fruit "happy hour" starting at 5pm and the warm cookies and coffee on our return from dinner. Bicycles and helmets were available for use but we simply ran out of time enjoying the chance to relax after a busy week in Sonoma. We only stayed for one night but it was perfect. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and plentiful including a morning espresso to send us on our way. I highly recommend this hotel!

Cleanliness and overall amenities, not to forget the absolutely wonderful complimentary breakfast.

For me there are a few too many lights from outlets, clock etc. that stay continually illuminated. I need a dark room to get good sleep and these were a bit bothersome for me. Also, the hotel is literally right next to the freeway so if you want to sleep in and are bothered by traffic sounds probably not best choice.

They provided all the necessities such as two bottles of water that can be refilled at the hotel, there is a large hidden trash and recycling bin in the room. Complimentary cheese, fruits and wine at happy hour. Complimentary cookies after 7pm. The complimentary breakfast is very good quality too. The view of Richerson Bay was beautiful, with nice walking trails right in front of the hotel.

The breakfast and coffee station were very much appreciated. The staff especially Genevieve were accomodating and made us feel welcome, the property was lovely and quiet and for us well located.

Our first room had a lovely view but not enough area for our luggage the queen beds were great but took up most of the space. The bathroom should have had a counter or a table for our toiletries.

The location is great. The amenities are superb! The staff is excellent! The lady who checked us in was beyond exceptional!! My wife and I both work in the hospitality industry. I am a sous chef and she is our banquet manager. Our place of employment is a small resort type. We would love to share our experience about Acqua Hotel to those that could help boost our company portfolio. We were truly grateful to have spent our time at Acqua.

The room was a little small. We found a few hairs in the bathroom and some rust in the tub. Those were all small things compared to our whole trip.

The views were sensational. Loved wine and cheese night, enjoying time near the fire pit in the terrace. The free apples were a bonus, we cannot afford them in our regular life.

Our shower curtain had mold on it. We asked for the tub to be deep cleaned, we are not sure if it was but the shower curtain was still left there. So that was a bummer, we should have received a new curtain without mold on it. I’m deathly allergic. It would have been nice if the TV was a smart TV so we could have done the screen mirror. Also, a microwave would have been handy for such a steep price.

The location was perfect for attending a wedding at the Presidio and for visiting Sausalito. The hotel has fabulous amenities and spaces for lounging outside our room. We were in a Junior Suite with view. We thoroughly enjoyed the extensive breakfast options, and were amazed with the staff of two, who kept everything stocked and beautifully presented. All the staff were extremely nice and helpful! We were next to the interstate, but the room was quiet with no road noise.

The only thing I lacked, that I usually enjoy, was a microwave.
