The Kasbah had character and a lovely terrace with views over the nearby Palmeraie. The welcome, warm hospitality and attention to detail were superb and a great feature of our stay. The room was comfortable but the B.com description was inexact. Supper was superb in a room full of atmosphere and breakfast was great in a different room with a view over the pool

The B.com description of the room said there was a terrace, there was but it was a terrace for everyone to use and not attached to the room. The B.com blurb did not mention that the pool was closed for repairs and improvements.

We had a wonderful stay at this place. The rooms and the entire property were thoughtfully equipped, creating a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The host was incredibly kind and provided us with great tips for exploring the area, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view from the terrace – truly unforgettable. And the food… absolutely the best we had on our trip! Both dinner and breakfast were exceptional – you could truly taste the love and care that went into every dish. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

This was honestly the best place I've ever stayed! We were only stopping by for one night, but liked it so much we stayed another night. The Kasbah was beautiful & inviting, we were stunned. The host, Lahcen, was incredibly accommodating and helpful, & my god his cooking is the best I've had in Morocco, this is not an overstatement. It's also not a big corporate chain, it's family operated. If you're considering staying here, do yourself a favour and do it.

Can't think of anything I didn't like

Really lovely b&b - spacious room, great bathroom/shower. Everything was very clean, rooms and common areas are tastefully decorated. The owner speaks perfect English and gave us very useful tips/directions for hiking the Todra Gorge. Breakfast and dinner were great (best tajine we had in Morocco, cooked with herbs and spices grown in the b&b garden). We realised we had a flat tyre the morning we were supposed to leave, and the owner quickly helped us replacing it and addressed us to a nearby garage. Amazing service! Overall, highly recommended accommodation.

The Kasbah Petit Nomade was the perfect place for us to stay on our way to explore the Todra Gorge. Our room was large and comfortable, with a nice view. Dinner on the terrace at sunset was amazing. The owners take great pride in the food they make, and it is stunning. But what made our stay really great was Lahcen taking time to explain the Todra Loop to us using his incredible hand-written map. It gave us the confidence to hike the loop (it took us four hours), and we enjoyed every minute. We highly recommend staying here.

Friendly family-run place with the best tajine we had all trip! Definitely be sure to order the dinner here, you won't regret it! Breakfast was also yummy and they even served it early for us as we were going out walking. We stayed 1 night on our way to Marrakech from the desert to see the Todra Gorge. The host gave us lots of tips for hikes/walking, which was great. Free, covered parking right in front of the accommodation. Big rooms with A/C and nice shower. Be sure to follow the signs for the Kasbah, not Google Maps, as the latter isn't quite right.

First thing to mention are the hosts, a very hard working husband and wife team who do everything to make your stay the best it can be offering good advice on walks adjacent to the accommodation (there is a pleasant hours walk through the palmerie) and further afield in the Todra Gorge. Welcomed on arrival with tea and snacks on the terrace overlooking the palmerie after a long drive which was most welcome. The rooms are quite rustic so anyone wanting super luxury may want to look elsewhere but for us, it was fine, Family owned, authentic, very clean and plenty of hot water for a shower. Dinner consists of tagine and a vegetarian option can be provided which was very good. Breakfast consisted of egg, yoghurt, bread, jams, cheese and fruit provided a good start to the day. Parking available adjacent to the property.

Amazing Kasbah!!!! We arrived quite late and the host prepared tea for us, provided us with some very useful information and even offered us to use the pool for a late night dip! The cleanliness of the room was outstanding, nice furniture and very spacious room. Breakfast on the terrace was absolutely delicious, very flexible breakfast hours, homemade jam, good coffee, delicious home made crêpes and much more. And stunning view from the terrace over the oasis and the mountains. We regretted that we could only stay for one night. Great location with the Todra Gorge and the city of Tinghir very close by.

The hosts were brillant, so hospitable, they went the extra mile to make our stay just perfect. Also, the home cooked meals were absolutely fabulous. The place itself is utterly charming. Garden, roof terrace, interior. And the view to the mountains plus the opportunity to roam the nearby palmeraie and old kasbah on foot makes the location just great.

The rooms and pool are dated but charming, as seen in the pics, but the high point was definitely dinner in the garden's terrace. Wow, the blend and depth of different spices and flavours knocked us out, making it one of the best (if not THE BEST) tagines in a fortnight's road trip around Morroco - and with a beautiful view as well. Do not miss it!
