Hote is near the airport and it offers the shuttle bus between airport and hotel, super convenient. Likewise, the hotel also provides the shuttle to a shopping mall and nearby beach. Breakfast is really good and room is clean and comfortable. This is a nice hotel as a transfer hotel for the waiting of the flight.

Staffs were very friendly and helpful, while the orgnization may be checked. I asked for a late-checkout and it was noted by the staff in the front table, while other staffs knocked and asked two times when we will check out. If the system is well-organized, I don't think this should happen two times.

The staff were not quite a laid back and relaxed as the African countries we'd just come from. Being part of a large chain it lacked 'soul'. Good for an overnight before or after a flight but you wouldn't want to stay here for a holiday - the views from the room are not what you'd be hoping for on a tropical island! As guests sit outside to smoke by the pool then that's not pleasant for non-smokers. It would be nice if such hotels provided a flannel in addition to towels.

Our flight home was delayed, so we had to make a swift booking to stay in a hotel overnight. The Holiday Inn was so close, with a free shuttle from the airport, so it was ideal. We booked on Booking.com, which was really easy to do. The hotel staff were lovely, the restaurant meal was top notch, room very comfortable with everything we needed, and we’d booked with breakfast included, which was a very comprehensive buffet, with eggs cooked to order. Absolutely perfect for our unexpected additional night in Mauritius. Thank you Holiday Inn 😊

We ended up staying 3 nights in the hotel, one planned when we first arrived, the next two unexpected when our flight with Air Mauritius was cancelled - and then cancelled a 2nd time. It's main advantage is its proximity to the airport. On our final overnight we used the option to take the minibus to the beach resort they work with - it was a pretty place with good snorkelling close inshore by a nice sandy beach.

In one of the 3 rooms we had there was a really stale smell (had a dog stayed in it perhaps?).

we ordered a taxi for a transfer to the airport early in the morning and that reservation unfortunately didn’t go through via the hotel staff.

The airport shuttle was there waiting for us after we landed. that was unexpectedly fantastic! We arrived at the hotel around 8am, very tired from a flight from London, so we asked if they could find us a room immediately. Normal check in is 3pm. The gentleman at the front desk asked us to sit for a few minutes while he contacted housekeeping. They came up with a room and we moved in immediately. So grateful! We wanted to go to a beach for a quick swim, but didn't want to pay the 40euro taxi fare. The hotel had a shuttle which took us to a nice beach (with a cafe and lounge area), left us there for 2 hours, then brought us back to the hotel ... for FREE. We were very happy xx The restaurant made us snacks and food at reasonable prices, the bed was large and comfy, the room clean and bright and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

The airport shuttle and proximity to the airport was a big contributor to why we selected the hotel. The room was convenient and had all the items we needed.

Our baggage was delayed and that meant that we did not have many of our essential items. I saw on my second visit that the hotel offered some of these essentials and even a shuttle to a shopping centre close by ... this would have been REALLY handy to know on our arrival. But now I know for next time (but hopefully we will not go through such a situation again).

Everyone at the hotel is super nice, wanting to make sure we are comfortable, thumbs up to everyone at the hotel, continue with the good spirit. Ashwin, i hope i got the name right went above and beyond, even the new girl at the front desk at time of check out...People in Mauritius are generally nice, visit mauritius and stay at holiday inn.

Great location near the airport, which is very useful if you have an early flight. Nice swimming pool. Of course I wouldn't stay there for one week, I'd prefer to spend my holidays at an hotel near the sea. But great value for an hotel near the airport. Dinner was good (à la carte, not buffet).

Weird smell in the room when we arrived. But we soon forgot about it. Noisy A/C.

We booked at the very last minute as our flight was cancelled. The staff were incredible -they handled a massive influx of people with calm, professionalism and good humour. They were a credit to the company. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We had dinner at the restaurant and were very happy with the pasta and pizza. The shuttle bus was efficient and convenient
