Our room was lovely. Had a queen and a twin bed. The twin bed was a little hard.

I had requested early check in and I got an email that it was approved for 3 PM check in. When I arrived at 3:15 PM the door was locked and no one answered the door. I went to a window and knocked and another guest let me in. When I called the owner, she said that she did not approve the early check in and that I should have gotten an email. Surprisingly, I got the email after I hung up with her. My guest and I opened a very hard to open sliding door to get to a small patio which I think was actually a private area. There was no other outside seating option that I found except for the front porch.

we liked that it was clean and good TV channels. Staff very kind and responsive to any questions/inquiry before and during stay which goes a long way these days

There was confusion on our room having a private bathroom. The booking.com site where we booked advertised a private bath. After booking we upgraded because of the private bath. No big deal cause we were only staying one night. Just confusing and we readjusted our expectation.

The house is in a beautiful location, very peaceful and serene. The rooms are nicely appointed and very clean. Lana was very responsive when we complained about the very cold temperature in our room and area. Breakfast foods and coffee and tea were available eventhough Booking.com said there was none provided.

The temperature in our room was down to 62 degrees F even after Lana tried to put the temp up to 71. This was the last week of June. When we opened the windows, it jacked up the AC even more. Lana did provide extra blankets so we could make it through the 2 nights. The "hot water" was barely warm.

Beautiful house Felt very welcoming I have seen other comments about standoffish staff. I had the complete opposite experience. Wonderful conversation, helpful when I had an issue arise, could not say enough about hostess, staff, and family.

I do agree that there could have been more breakfast choices, but meh, bring a protein bar!

The mirror in the room was covered in hand prints. If made me question the overall cleanliness. Same for the info papers

the property is very big and clean. the owner was so kind to wait for us until late at night and she accommodated our extra guests we added last minute. the room is clean and beds are very comfy. the bathroom was also very cleaned and with shampoo, body wash and all the towels we neeeded ir.

to use the bathroom we had to get out of the room. there were no other guests besides us but it was an info that I would have liled to know before the stay. other than that everything was perfect!

Nice place in the country, great value

It doesn't state that the bathroom will be shared. I read previous reviews and sent several emails before finally receiving a reply to confirm a few days before our arrival. It worked out because our bathroom wasn't used by anyone else. Knowing in advance would be helpful.

Overall solitude, restrooms are handicap equipped, wonderfully clean and close to so many places to explore. Owner is a hard working person and caring.

Didn't have dedicated bathrooms like it was advertised. Luckily it was in the same area as another guest that I knew. So, us sharing the bathroom wasn't a big deal. The property advertising it as being separate is. Also, I was given the impression that my room can with a tv. It didn't.

This is a clean, comfortable, freshly decorated B&B. I spent the night after biking most of the W&OD trail. This B&B is a short 1.2 mile ride from the Purcellville trailhead. The price was reasonable and exactly what I was seeking for a layover on my bike ride. Comfortable beds! I highly recommend Monks BBQ after a day of biking. You will pass this restaurant on the way to the B&B. Great food and excellent local beer selection.

Breakfast is spartan - essentially a shared kitchen with serve yourself bagels, muffins, bananas and yoghurt. Bathrooms are large and clean - shared between 2 or 3 rooms. This isn't a super-cute or romantic type of B&B. But the rooms are very clean, comfortable and reasonably priced.
