The Hotel is near to beach, you can explore different food to near by restaurants. Mount breez hotel food was good. Room I can say it is ok good stay. I had booked from date 28th Nov to 5th Dec 2021

If you are booking hotel through booking.com or online then you would charge high. I got charged 4400 indian rupees per night on booking.com but if you directly call to hotel & book the room then you would charge approx 1800Rs indian ruppes( that is 5000LKR). Please book hotel directly to save your money. If you have long stay & you booked with BB (brekfast bed basis) then you'll find they have only 2 types of breakfast veg & continental. They have limited option for breakfast. Everyday you will get same breakfast menu. Buffet breakfast not available.

Excellent location right by beach. Receptionist Gilky was superb, so helpful. Nice pool, cleaned everyday. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss but value for money overall. WiFi good.

Ceiling leaked when it rained so had to move stuff so didn't get wet although floor dried out pretty quick because of heat. Found out through another guest you can stay for less than two thirds the price if you go direct to hotel. On the whole OK, but think there is better value to be had elsewhere.

The property was very clean, the reception and room was quite modern and nice. The reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was fab, we had lots of toast with jam with a massive plate of fruit and yogurt, very yum!

The unexpected proximity to the railway (we should have expected this from the reviews we just didn’t realise how loud it would be), however the trains did seem to stop when we went to sleep, as we weren’t woken up by them.

Staff was extremely helpful. Had a lovely view of the Ocean. Bathroom facilities were good. The English Breakfast we had there was good. Loved the platter of fruits that we got until the breakfast was ready. Since the hotel is situated adjacent to the Mount Lavinia Beach, we found plenty of night time entertainment from food to live music in walking distance.

I wish that there was a hair dryer in the bathroom itself.
