Solo female who wanted somewhere I could feel safe on my arrival to Sri Lanka. They arranged airport pick up for me. The staff were so lovely and helpful during my stay. Even giving me a courtesy call when they knew I slept in!! Because of you I didn't miss my train! I was so busy sight seeing I didn't get to use the pool but wish I did as the view was spectacular. It's a bit of a walk from the main part of the city but a lovely walk if you've got it in you, or super easy and fun to catch tuktuk. My room had plenty of space and a safe.

The rooms general cleaning was spot on however maybe a little time spent doing a deep clean to remove mould build up in shower and fridge would bring the room up amazingly. Regardless of this I would stay again.

Very good location and easy to walk around the area. Easy to find public transport including Tuk TUK and taxi. Room was good size with well stock with tea/coffee, drinking water etc. very clean hotel and lifts well maintained. Swimming pool on the roof floor was a bonus with the bar. The lady looking after the pool was very friendly and helpful. Always smiling. She even came to tidy our room in morning. Will come back to this hotel.

Only down side is the restaurant which is in the next building. AC was very cold and made us uncomfortable. Pricing for meal was very expensive.

Amazing infinity pool pointing West with the Colombo sea just in front with a perfect view of the sunset. Located just 10 minutes by Tuktuk from One Galle Face.

The facilities of the hotel are a little bit out-dated, but aligned with similar level hotels. The seaview from the room is a little bit underwhelming, as the hotel is not on the first row of the sea.

Great food, excellent local menu offerings too, but even better offered a mix of chinese and european dishes for those that needed a quick break from too many curries. location was key. it is on one of the main streets.

didnt have a dedicated bar to relax at. had a lounge area but the main bar service was in the restaurant. We turned up when they were opening and the AC was waay to cold.. Pool on the roof was hammered by the direct sun most of teh day, but still a spectacular view.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, all services available. All types of food available in the restaurant.Excellent location, easily accessible to all amenities!

Nice and simple hotel. Swimming pool area is a clear bonus. Location is nice too, being in the right place to visit Colombo. Next to a supermarket, a cafe for tourists and a bank. The hotel restaurant was fantastic albeit at the ground floor level which prevented any nice view or setting. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The hotel is a bit of a maze. Finding and accessing the pool takes some extra exploration skills. The view from our window was a wall with other rooms, not really charming.

Heart of town, budget hotel, tired interiors which come with this price tag £50 per night. Good wifi Room service staff very good. Swimming pool excellent as is the glass house gym, although no air conditioning, which makes it a sauna as well!

Refuse a room around 1st floor stair case as it is the main walkway to gym, pool and directly above reception, where you will hear customers arguing with staff at all hours. Some tight practices like charging for additional coffee sachets!!! Filthy fridge which is not working. Asked for safe battery to be changed as it was saying low battery, told it would be done, but they fail to do over our stay. Did eat at hotel as food hall in basement.

The location was excellent for me because I needed to be central to Colombo 3 & 4/5 and was near a bank, supermarket and a post office. I did not take the Sri Lankan breakfast because it had been out since 6.30am and I would only eat freshly cooked food. The room was fine although I had problems with some plug sockets. The service for a lone traveller was kind and attentive, always available 24 hours whenever I needed help, even late at night. Unfortunately travel companies will only use expensive 4/5 star hotel chains, which are very impersonal and do not give a friendly personal service or good value for money. I will try to recommend you to my travel agents.

I was concerned that the plug sockets near the TV did not always work properly and I was worried about a fire risk. The left hand top brown coloured curtain on the larger main window had come off its runners where it met the right hand curtain. The shower floor could get quite slippery during a shower and I was worried about falling. Lastly, I could not work out how to make the fridge to remain on when I was out of the room and the key was removed from its holder.
