Beautiful room and building. Seems very new, amazing view of the ocean.

In the restaurant, the staff were so attentive that it felt overwhelming at times. Like I couldn't look up from my table without being nodded at and grinned at immediately. I think the service standard was so high that it became a bit like I was being constantly observed for a new need I might have rather than allowing me to feel at home. This feedback is coming from a positive place - I can see the team is working really hard and were very diligent. Maybe just turn the attention volume down a little, be more subtle and trust the guests to reach out to you when they need you.

I was so lucky having chosen Amari for my stay in Colombo. It is a great new hotel, with spacious and comfortable rooms, fantastic views other the city or the ocean, professional and friendly staff and stunning rooftop swimming pool and restaurant. It is a great value for money too. The food was delicious and well presented, both for breakfast ( both Western and Sri Lankan specialties) and room service. Did not try buffet dinner but will do so next time. If you are looking for a place to stay at either start or end of your tour to Sri Lanka, look no further than Amari Colombo.

I spent my last night here before flying back to my home country. I was really excited when I finally checked in because the room was very cozy and modern. It was the best last-minute decision of my trip! The hotel workers who assisted me throughout were very accommodating and approachable. Minushi from the front desk made me feel like a VIP upon arriving. I will never forget that moment! Check-out was super quick too. Sri Lankan hospitality at its finest! Amari Colombo is such a promising hotel in the heart of the capital city of Sri Lanka! The hotel location is superb, and the views are just breathtaking. I can't wait to be back and will surely recommend this hotel to my friends or family who are heading to Sri Lanka.

It's a minor issue, but I requested a bottled water hours before checking out because I was thirsty after spending some time at the pool, but no water was delivered to my room even though I got a confirmation when I called. I did not bother to follow up anymore because I got busy packing. It's not a big deal honestly, but for someone like me who has a background in the hospitality industry and who had worked in the guest services department, I suggest that small requests like mine must still be prioritized no matter what to really provide the best customer satisfaction.

The hotel is new and clean nice location the reception staff all were helpful arshad is wonderful person he assist us very well.

We booked 2 nights and want to extend first night we had a dinner inside hotel but 2 nd night suddenly the dinner buffet was stopped by hotel management which was little disturbing as such a brand should not stop suddenly if guest are less they should limit the buffet section so at least the Inhouse who is willing to have dinner can have it overall the Restutant staff need training the main chef and night manager was quite accommodating but Restutant staff need training

The ocean view rooms are stunning. It feels like you are right on the ocean. Breakfast has good options of local and western choices. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Minushi at the reception was especially helpful. Location is good, the train station is just across the road and can explore shops and restaurants around on foot easily. Rooms are clean and modern.

The pool is quite small. The menu has limited local options, there is an Italian restaurant on the premise but I came to eat Sri Lankan food and its pity there was not more local options.

The fact that everything is new and the swimming pool at the rooftop. The view of the city is great. Also the buffet was so delicious and abundant. So many options from different cuisines! Would totally recommend it. We enjoyed our time there to recover from moving around the east of Sri Lanka. The ocean view room was really good, as waking up to the view of the sea and nothing else was great.

The Gym & fitness center was under renovation, BUT I was Not Told and Booking.com Did Not mention either? Should be More Transparent and Inform the Public accordingly. I stayed for 5 nights and so with 5 breakfast. But All the 5 days have the same food for Breakfast; Nothing Change, Nothing added to the menu. Should have some changes to the menu every few days. hence you are giving the impression that you Do Not want the guest to stay more days with your hotel.

Amari Hotel was like a smaller version of the Shangri-la in terms of the deco, but the service was so personal. The location is perfect, right in the heart of everything but quiet with great views of the city or ocean, depending on which room you've booked. The hotel is modern, clean and very comfortable. We welcomed by Arshad and Tachila who took wonderful care of throughout our stay. The food and room service was definitely a reason to return. This was a perfect stay. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back.

The best bed I’ve ever slept. The room is itself an amazing experience as it is a new hotel and the views and all are of high quality. The swimming pool is also stunning 🤩

I asked for sea view but they gave me city view. Still it was amazing. I didn’t like that I had to accept conditions and give my personal details to use the Wi-Fi of the hotel. To protect my personal data is essential for me and here I could not if I wanted to use their Wi-Fi. I was asked if I wanted anything to drink as a welcome drink. Other great hotels just bring you the drink without asking and the cold towel. I suggest this. The welcome drink could also be improved. But all in all it was a fantastic experience that uli would highly recommend. Thank you!

It was a very nice room with a nice view over the city. We could see the lotus tower. The room was big, with a comfortable bed. We had everything we needed after our flight. We also tried the breakfast, which was not included in our deal. We paid separatly and we could join. The buffet was amazing with a huge variety of different foods. We really liked it.
