Breakfast & room service like 2 people stay only 2 pk coffee , milk & tea for all day

I had a wonderful stay at Morven Hotel Colombo.The service was exceptional. The rooms were clean and well maintained.The YouTube enabled tv connection was great. The tree house bar on the 7th floor was perfect for unwinding with a great view and a drink in hand. I enjoyed their buffet breakfast, which was served at the 1st Floor restaurant.The food was great and worth the price. Overall, my experience was great. A big thanks to the front desk and housekeeping staff for making my stay memorable. I will definitely recommend this property because of the affordable price and their great hospitality. Thanks Morven for your lovely service.

We stayed in Morven Hotel Colombo for 2 nights, in standard double rooms. Overalls, the room is very clean and well maintained. The bed is super comfortable and the view is really beautiful. The staff was really helpful and assisted us with the luggage during checkin and checkouts.

There’s no minibar in the room. The food options in the breakfast buffet could have been better with variety of food options, it was rather limited. The receptionists could improve their guest interactive skills, and smile a bit more often.

We have stayed in this hotel several times and it remains a good comfortable hotel and great value for money. The hotel is well located near to various shops and restaurants and a short tuk tuk ride from the city centre. Although it is situated on the Galle Road it is very quiet inside and the rooms have efficient air conditioning. The premium rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom has everything you need. The staff are very helpful and welcoming.

The inbuilt wardrobe is in an awkward place and the room safe didn't work. Only minor matters in the great scheme of things.

The Hotel in general was great, good value for money,the staff were very attentive and always ready to attend any guest request, the location as well is a 10. Very close by with Liberty Plaza Mall. We booked 2 room accommodations only, both rooms were very spacious and comfortable, it was possible to take breakfast at the price of usd 10 per person we did take twice it was good a little variety for everyone maybe a few more option(continental) would have been great , we also dined at the hotel twice and the food was very good. Towels were changed everyday and amenities were replaced if used.Unfortunately the roof top area was under construction but still a very well maintained swimming pool was accessible.

No Mini bars in the room,we had to ask for it, but it was quickly sorted out free of charge.

Great location. We stayed 3 nights before leaving SL. Stayed in the suite with the sofas and TV. Exactly as shown in the pics. Spacious, comfortable, clean and had berthing we needed inc garbage cans, coffee, tea, water bottles, extra towels, toiletries, a working TV with movie channels. Cafe / restaurant 1st floor. Food or room service until 10:30pm. Lots of local eateries around hotel too. Excellent staff. Mr. Sumudu Tilakaratne (front desk manager) was always there with a smile to greet and help us with anything we needed. He’s the best part of the hotel. Don’t hesitate. This hotel was recently renovated and a great value compared to other hotels in the area. Thanks!

At first I was provided with a regular room (but with ocean view), later upon requesting the hotel staff to change my room due to some issues addressed, I was asked to wait for a day due to over-occupancy. However after one day I was upgraded to suite level and the experience was absolutely enthralling. Thank you for the brilliant support. I owe you!

There was nothing which I didn't like. From the amazing friendly kitchen staff, to the extremely courteous and friendly management staff - everything was top-notch!

Location is perfect. It is close to the beach, Galle Face Green, shopping malls and several restaurants. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. We had an issue with our aircon which was resolved immediately. It is ideal for a short stay in Colombo.

Room was a bit smaller than expected. It would have been nice to know upfront that some of the areas are being renovated and are therefore not available.

The location is very convenient, can easily travel to all the close locations of Colombo, and the rooftop bar is very nice with a nice atmosphere, good place to have a drink with a few friends, and overall the staff was very friendly and inviting.
